26.5

JENGUNERLAIVNCREQLIQCNIFREL.

Shoshana asked what movies I downloaded and watched, and I've decided that I'd tell you, since one of my New Year's Resolutions was to be more open and honest.

I should just warn you all now that after reading this list, you will lose all respect you might have had for me. I feel like I can safely say that because after watching these movies, I no longer have any respect for myself.

- Hannah Montana the Movie (which I had already seen, so it's twice as sad that I downloaded it to watch for a second, possibly third, time)

- Fame (Yeah. I went there.)

- Weather Girl (which was totally cliched and annoying. There was definitely a montage of them staring at the water/walking in the cold, wind mussing their hair about, bundled into scarves, after they broke up. Those are the worst kinds of montages.)

- The Proposal (I wanted to know what the fuss was about. Also totally cliched, but I love Sandra Bullock.)

- The Accidental Husband (I watched this a million years ago, before it was released into theatres and liked it. Uma Thurman. Colin Firth. Jeffery Dean Morgan. Haven't watched it yet, but I think I'll still like it. Nevermind. It was definitely better the first time.)

- The Time Traveler's Wife (not as good as I expected.)

- Labor Pains (For reasons unknown to me, I'm kind of a Lindsay Lohan fan. This movie was weird, though.)

- Paper Heart (Made it ten minutes. Turned it off. No thanks.)

- Post Grad (I was a fan of Gilmore Girls so I thought I might enjoy it. But no. It kind of seemed like I watched three
movies in a row that were exactly the same, but with different people. This was one of those three movies. The others were Weather Girl, and I think The Proposal.)

- Wild Child (Emma Roberts. Can't believe I just admitted that. Of all the movies I watched, I am most embarrassed of this one. But I give it props for this one:
"Sorry Mrs Kingsley, we just got a little bit carried away."
"Well, as I understand it, Drippy was completely carried away, by Mr Nellis and Ms Rees-Withers. After lying in a pool of her own vomit."
"Actually, it was Kate's vomit, Mrs Kingsley... I was just lying in it.")

I also downloaded, but have not yet watched - Adam, Bright Star, Zombieland, and Love Happens (which turned out to be in Spanish).
And Good Will Hunting, but I have already seen it, and love it immensely.

There might have been another movie, but I don't think so. If there was, I've blocked it out.

So today's song. We were watching Fringe the other day and it came on. My mum hates this song, and I knew this. So I started singing along. This song is wonderful. Can't Fight This Feeling by REO Speedwagon.

Just lovely.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go see a man about his mother.

PS I also watched the movie Dare. DON'T DO IT. I thought it would be awesome because it had Emmy Rossum in it, but it was the MOST awkward movie EVER. Like, clutching your face, pulling your hair out awkward. Not recommended.

  1. Hahah wow... But I do like the Proposal, personally. Ryan Reynolds is one of the reasons I am so proud of BC. And I don't hate Sandra Bullock in it either, so it was a win overall, haha. And I totally don't have the Hannah Montana Movie on my ipod. No Sir.
