I totally got my parental unit to start watching Fringe. It was through this that I learned Alex's celebrity twin, and it's totally Anna Torv. I never noticed it before, which is crazy, considering how long I've been watching the show. But we watched the very first episode today, and I was like: HOLY CRAP, IT'S A BLONDE ALEX IN HER LATE 20/EARLY 30s! She has the same color eyes, but Alex's are bigger. And their mouths are a little different, but not hugely, and they have like, the exact same nose. And Alex's cheekbones are a little more defined, but who am I to judge because Anna and Alex are both flippin' gorgeous!
So because I'm like, super obsessed with LOST at the moment, today's song is going to be about that.
Luke Conard (from All Caps, you recall) and some friends (Jason and Alex) started a band called the Oceanic Six. Which is like, a band that writes songs about LOST. And they're really awesome.
Today's song is about Mr. Eko. If you made it as far as the second season, you know who this is. I'm almost done the second season, and I love him. Anyways, here's a really awesome song called... Mr. Eko. Kind of obvious, wasn't it?
I love the end bit where Alex steps in the water. Suckaaa.
Countdowns -
Abbotsford: 30ish
Reunion: 150
Seizureman: 194
Lisa Lutz book: 34
Eggwiches this year: 5
Grilled cheeses this year: Way more than 5. What I've learned from my excessive grilled cheese cooking is that I'd be awesome at college. I mean, I'd be sub-par at the schoolwork stuff, but as far as surviving, I'd be amazing at that. I have the ability to eat the same thing every day without getting sick of it. So I could eat grilled cheese for a week, or pancakes for a week. Obviously with the intermittent apple/banana/grapefruit and yogurt, because I love fruit. But if I had to live with a small budget, I'd be alright.
Now that it's almost 2:30, I'm going to go to bed. I should have been asleep hours ago because I was exhausted all day and now I am positively knackered. Enjoy.

Hahahah, I totally feel the same about food. We can trade recipes for grilled cheese, stir-fries (on wheat, cause rice is expensive, haha), and oatmeal. We'll have to spring for some lettuce too, or else we'll be REALLY constipated.
ReplyDeleteSurprisingly, I am not at all creeped out that you have analyzed my facial features closer than I have. It just makes me love you more, which, I didn't eve think was possible but you have proved otherwise. Grilled cheese rock. Same with egg sandwiches.
ReplyDeletehaha oceanic six ftw!
