So on my last post, I linked to two of my new followers, who I am also following back. And I decided it was time to list all the blogs I follow for the lovely ten people that read this blog. In alphabetical order, so we know no one is more important than anyone else.
A Letter to Elise
Dida, who is Sunday on The Squirrel Rebellion, and a new friend of mine. Pretty much everything on her blog is in Portuguese, but Google Translator is surprisingly accurate. You just need to switch a lot of the words around and come up with better synonyms.
Confessions of Alex
Alex, one of my best friends. She blogs about her life at UOttawa and being a Page in the House of Commons, and her family and other lovely things. It's a fantastic blog, so go there.
Dani's Letters
Dani, she was recommended by a new follower of mine (Christie) when SHE made a post telling us all her ten favorite blogs. She holds nothing back.
I Recommend Pleasant
Anna, who is Monday on The Squirrel Rebellion (and the Five Awesome Strangers) is awesome. Her blog title was inspired by The Blues Brothers*, and every post is titled after a Beatles' Song. She just started blogging f'realzies, so show her some love.
*Actually inspired by the old movie/play "Harvey". I was confused because there was also an Elwood in Blues Brothers. Evs.
I'm Not Going to Lie to You
Hazel, who is Thursday of TSR is a lovely British girl, whose blogs are often completely charming, disjointed thoughts. She just gets sidetracked easily, and is like that guy who never stopped writing so in his books, you would find grocery lists and things he spoke aloud. Hazel's a bit like that.
Is It Just Me?
Missy was recommended by Christie as well, and I've only read one or two blogs. However, she blogs with elegance and humour, and has a way of making anything funny.
Let's have a Cocktail
Jenny was also recommended by Christie, but I can see why. I just read her blog post about a wedding she was invited to, and attended. Brilliance.
Maureen Johnson Books
Maureen is one of my favorite authors because all her books are filled with subtle jokes that are just so hilarious. She is quick-witted and adorably crazy. If you can't afford books, her blog is sustenance enough. I'm still trying to convince her to turn The Tiger Diaries (parts one to four) into a novel.
Oh, hey Kristina
Kristina is a blogger/vlogger/Harry Potter fan/wrocker/awesome person on the internet. She blogs about her life at university, her amusing roommates, Youtube, Twitter, gas station weddings, and everything in between.
Secret Office Confessions
It's a little bit The Office, and a whole lot addictive. Kate blogs about the secret goings-on in her office, that the bosses are blissfully unaware of.
Sent From Paris With Love
I finally found Lo's blog. She's been reading mine, without my knowledge. She must be the anonymous follower? Anyways, go check out Saturday of the Squirrel Rebellion on her blog, where she blogs about Paris, music, life, and love.
Starting Over
Jen's About Me section: My blog is an online diary / journal. It's more fun keeping it here than in a notebook stuffed under my mattress. I write about whatever is on my mind. Sometimes it's serious, sometimes it's silly. If anyone finds my life interesting enough to read, that will be a bonus.
Well, she has 49 followers. So I'm pretty sure that's good enough :)
Stay Classy
Though the title will probably change soon, Ashley will remain the same: slightly neurotic, and always entertaining. She is the Tuesday to our Rebellion. She's a senior in high school, eagerly awaiting the day when the torture and humiliation of her high school life ends and she can move on to college. Seriously. She's got a countdown and everything.
Tales From My Head
This is Christie! She blogs about music and has topless pictures of Daniel Craig in her sidebar! I mean, she blogs about more than just music, but I think I've convinced you all to take a gander after that last sentence anyways.
The Hayleylujah Chorus
Chances are, if you were already following Kristina and Maureen's blogs BEFORE you read this post, you are following Hayley's blog as well. She is hilarious. I mean, she has a count for how many chipotle burritos she has each year. I totally copied this, and while I haven't been marking it down on my blog lately, I do have a tally of my egg sandwiches this year.
The Letters From No One
The actual URL is themidnightduel. So from both the URL title and the actual title, you're guessing she's a Harry Potter fan? Correct! Ari(anna) is our lovely Wednesday, and she has just started a blog too, so be sure to show her the love.
Your Mum Luvs Me.... Even Though I Left Her For Katimavik
Look at the URL of my blog. meandyourmum.blogspot.com
Hers is yourmumandme.blogspot.com
Meet my other best friend, Shoshana. When she started a blog, she tried for meandyourmum.blogspot.com
But guess who had already taken it? She was too distraught to even look meandyourmum up to see who stole it from her. She didn't discover it until a while later, through Alex's blog. When she did, she laughed. She said if anyone had the URL, she was glad it was me. Still, this makes us telepathically linked that we both tried to use the same URL for our blogs. We are so BFFs.
But about the actual blog.... it's hilarious. I have never read a post that has made me do anything less than split a gut. Or twelve.
So check out these blogs, because they are supermegafoxyawesomehot.
