Welcome to my 200th blog post. Sorry I don't have anything special for today. I was going to post my latest lip sync, but I kind of deleted all the footage and have to start over.
...I made cheesecake? Let's pretend that was for my 200th. It was like... really sugary. Next time I'll tone it down a lot.
I'll tell you about a dream I had last night instead. It was really messed up. I just thought I should clarify it because I went to four different Facebook walls this morning and told the people involved what they did. But they don't know each other, so no one has the full story. Here it is. First, I should clarify the people in it.
Spencer Cotten - friend from school who, to my knowledge, cannot ride a unicycle.
Mitchell Teauge - friend from work. 24, kind of unexpected.
Corey Sheremeto - friend from seminary. I haven't spoken to him in a year, he did not go to my school.
Anna Menta - I know, right?
Other people I can't remember.
Also, our high school (in this dream) was FREAKING HUGE. It took forty-five minutes to get across it.
Okay, so my teacher called and told me that Corey and I had been chosen to deliver speeches, I guess, in front of like, a lot of schools. Like, international level. Millions of people. And TV-broadcasted. I chose to write a narrative, because even in my dream state, I realized this was all I was good for, and apparently that's allowed for speeches. I was at Anna's for some reason, and I had to call Corey to tell him this news and he was so excited. I was not. I almost died. On Anna's carpet. Anyways, I went over to Anna's desk to start writing this speech thingy and all of the lined paper on her desk was used. So I checked in her drawer, and she had two un-enveloped letters addressed to me (not at all weird that we lived next door and this was happening) inside the drawer. I didn't have time to be mad that she hadn't sent my letters, because I was freaking out about my speech. I had an idea and she had no paper!
There was no paper anywhere on the shelves beneath the desk, so I went across the room to the couch, and opened the closet next to the TV. Anna was looking in the couches and she managed to turn some music on REALLY LOUD. I started freaking out because her parents would hear and get mad at us. She took a while to turn it off, she was panicking, I guess. There was no paper in the closet. Now I was panicking. And I was late for school. All of a sudden, I wasn't in Anna's house anymore.
Now I was at school, still looking for paper. But I was on the other side of the school from my first class, which started in fifteen minutes. Corey and I would be late! We started running. But have no fear, Spencer appeared! And he was riding his unicycle. In school... and we were the only ones in the hallways, because we were late for class. Spencer told us to hop onto his unicycle and he would take us to our class. While we were on Spencer's unicycle, I rifled through his backpack for paper. He had a whole bunch, so I took some. And I started writing my speech on the way. The speech wasn't until the next week, but I like to be prepared. Plus, if I didn't write it down, I wouldn't remember my idea and I would not have a better speech than Corey.
Then Mitchell appeared in the hallway, and stuck his foot out to trip us (totally in character for him) and we went flying everywhere. Before we could get back on the unicycle, I had to find my paper. Mitchell had disappeared so I couldn't beat him up, but we found my paper soon enough. So we hopped back on the unicycle and Spencer took us to class, which looked eerily similar to my 10th grade math class, and they were looking at a science slide movie on the projector. It was like Anaphase and prophase. Like Twilight, but just the slides on the screen and this deep voiced man narrating, while people took notes. No Cullens or Bellas, thank goodness.
We were late. And Mitchell had somehow made it on time, even though he tripped us in the middle of the hallway. Jerk.
I'm sure there would have been more intensity in my dream, but I woke up to Joe doing the dishes.
That was just a really round-about way of telling you all I'm crazy!
So anyways, I've been reading a lot of Texts From Last Night. And I read this one in particular, that said something like: Last night, you pretended to be programming your number into a bunch of guys' phones, but instead you donated to Haiti for them.
I thought it was awesome. And there have been a lot of We Are The World remakes on Youtube. This is my favorite so far. The only person I don't like is Elise. She annoys me. I think she looks like someone I hated in high school. And her voice just bugs me. Anyways. Everyone else is really talented. Also, one of the blonde girls (I think Rachel) looks kind of like Lady GaGa from the side. Just sayin'.
So everyone, have a lovely Monday.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go see a man about a dog. (Thanks, Shoshana - might change it up every once in a while, but the overall theme will remain the same.)

I dozed off today after my exam and I dreamed that my parents bought me a new high tech Blackberry. And I have a friend that has a Blackberry and I make fun of him all the time so that was funny. I am afraid that if I check out Texts from Last Night I'll become addicted.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I love your sign off. Pretty much genius.
