So I found out which characters I'm playing in our Harry Potter spoof... Molly Weasley and Dolores Umbridge. Way to typecast the fat one.
Whatever, I'll probably be in like one scene, which is fine by me, haha.
I just got back from playing VOLLEYBALL. It was so fun. I'm sure I'll have lots more bruises tomorrow (to add onto the tubing bruises) and I skinned my knees, despite the sweatpants. And my arms were red until I got home. That's how hard I play. I freaking love volleyball, and I got so into it tonight. I was on the same team with Jeremy and Geoff, who were both pretty good. I'd have to say Jeremy was better, but that's because he was diving a lot, and together we dominated. Then I was playing with Emily, who is scared of the ball; Terra, who is super short and also kind of scared of the ball; Toni, who is slightly scared of the ball, and Zak and Emily number two were there for a while, but then they left to do something mysterious and never joined back in. So basically everyone was scared of the ball. But they did put in some solid efforts.
Jeremy drove me home and we listened to his Anberlin/Boys Like Girls CD. We made it through Day Late Friend, and then I was home. He drives pretty fast. Not that I even noticed. I come from a family where if you're not driving like it's a suicide mission, you're not driving properly. My mom is significantly better than my dad. But seriously, nothing to do with driving bothers me even a little. People always ask me if I'm scared, when they make a "risky" move in traffic. And I'm just like: Yeah, I ain't even bovvered.
Anyways, it was an awesome night. I bought some shoes on Saturday. Technically, they're a size too small. But I loved them so much I had to get them. I wore them to the library today and kind of got blisters. But I get lots of blisters, so it's cool. Then I put my socks on and wore them to volleyball. But I didn't wear them while playing volleyball. And Jeremy saved me from having to walk home in them, because I would have been going in my socks. He's lovely.
Right. So I promised more songs from Zak's van. This is a really good one. The CD was playing when he picked me up, and he said there was a prize if we knew who sang it. I thought it sounded reallly familiar. And I realized a few hours ago that they reminded me of the Counting Crows mixed with another band, so that's why it was familiar. But I had never actually heard them before, and they are amazing.
Today's song is: I've Been Asleep for a Long, Long Time by Hey Rosetta!
Enjoy your Tuesday, everybody. Also, hello to my new follower, Christie; a fellow Glen Hansard lover. You are lovely :)
And to all my other followers, who are pretty much just my friends, I love you as well.
