23.2

So I was trying to decide whether to get a car or a MacBook for my birthday.

And as much as I'd love a car, I reaaally need a new computer. This one is over three years old. And it sucks. It's running on threats and willpower. I'm going to order it online as soon as I can. And I'll probably get an iPod Touch...

You may be saying to yourself "Marissa, you whore. Save your money. Spend it on school. etc."

But a new computer is really a necessity. The iTouch is just me spoiling myself. And the many shopping excursions with Hailey and/or Mitchell will be spoiling myself. But it's all been rationalized in my mind so you can't talk me out of it. Soz.

Then when I get back to Kelowna, I'm going to find a job and save up for school. And a car. And I am determined to save. Because I suck at saving (everyone knows this).

Anyways. I think for the song we're going to do the same thing as yesterday. It was fun. And don't go thinking this is a theme - I said no theme for this week. This is merely a new method in which I choose a song. Because it takes too long to think of one myself, and it's also a great way to hear new bands. So letter numero uno...

J. Oh dear. Nothing springs to mind, so we're Googling that shizz. Let's go with Jewel, because I don't think I've posted this song yet. EVERYONE knows this song. I actually had this CD when I was younger, I got it for Christmas. And it was called Women and Songs. It had Sarah McLachlan and Alanis and Cher... It's an annual Canadian release. This is the version I had: CLICK HERE. Man, I miss that CD. I listened to it EVERY DAY for a long, long time and it was awesome. I was, like, eight. I want it back.

Anyways. The song by Jewel is called Hands.

Sexy: Childhood memories
Unsexy: Being embarrassed about childhood memories. Seriously, we were all young and stupid with embarrassing tastes in music. Embrace it!

  1. I love this new layout type of thing. Its the shizz. This is one of those songs that I've heard on the radio for, like, my whole life but never knew who sang it or what it was called. I already told you this, but my childhood CD was the Christina Agulera one. Sad. Very, very sad.
