So since I last posted (four hours ago), Moni called. Instead of going in at 12:30 tomorrow, I'm going in at 9:30. And staying until 9:30... We're getting more stock tomorrow. And we have to do a bunch of promotional garbage and clean the store because the stock has ruined it and Moni can't handle it by herself apparently so I have to go in early. She was going to ask Iram to come in early, but Iram hates being called in early, and then I'd be closing alone, which is less fun. I'd rather suffer through Moni until 6:30 then have the reprieve later.

Anyways. Every once in a while, I'm reminded of a certain artist whom I love and am kinda sorta friends with. I met her when I was in Surrey and we were in drama class together. I say kinda sorta because we were friends then but don't talk much anymore. Mostly because she has been... ON TOUR. And writing songs, and away. And I moved and all that garbage. She graduated a year earlier than me at Matheson and she is incredibly talented. The first time I heard her sing I knew she would be big. And she is now #38 on the Canadian AC Charts with her song Convicted.

So today she posted a status about her song being a hit (which it is) and then I was like "OH YEAH, ALISHA". So I went on to youtube and convicted has about 50,000 hits or something. I'm so proud of this girl, she works so hard for everything when she doesn't even need to because of her voice. Anyways, once I was reminded of her, I pimped her to Ashley and Ashley likes her so I thought I'd pimp her out to all my Twitter followers and to all of you :) So I've already linked to Convicted, here is Summer Love. Given that it feels like summer here.

So yeah. It's not even nine, but I think I'm going to clean my room a bit and then head off to bed because I have a twelve hour day tomorrow. Actually more than that because I'm waking up at 7.
