Sooo I'm typing this on my MacBook. Finally got it back. And it was all covered by the warranty. And I was going to say on my blog that I hadn't gotten it back (or rather, not mention it at all) and then post a surprise video on the Squirrel Rebellion channel..
BUT MY MIC ISN'T WORKING. So I don't know if they effed it up during the repair or if I need to click something, but it's not working. So I can't make a video... Maybe some time next week? Arggh, this is so annoying. I was so excited to get my MacBook back, it actually made my day so much better. But this makes it a little worse. My overall mood is still happy because I got my MacBook and I'm not at work and I don't have to go in until 12:30 tomorrow so I can have a bit of a lie-in.
And I spoke to Chelsea and Robert about what to do with this girl I work with who is driving me crazy. I'm supposed to get an hour long break, but I normally take like, 20 minutes, and then adjust it in the time card so it looks like I took my full hour. But today I went to talk to Robert and Chelsea (it was on the way to Tim Horton's, and they happened to be working so I popped in for a visit) and I was there for a long time. Then Chelsea and I went to Tim's, and then went back and spoke more, then I went to get my MacBook. And I took like, an hour and a half.
So when I got back, apparently Moni had asked about me, and Iram was like "Oh, she left at a quarter to, she still has five minutes" and then I actually made it back within that time frame. Even though I left at a quarter after. She was covering for me, it was awesome. But yeah, even if she had said something to me I would have been like "You know what? You made me come in and work twelve hours yesterday because you have some fear of being by yourself and actually doing the work yourself, so I'm a little TIRED and thought I deserved a longer break".
Anyways, deep breath. She's getting on my nerves a bit. So I thought I'd update you on Wuthering Heights. I'm only on chapter six, but I'm quite enjoying it. I'm definitely intrigued to find out how the story ends up and Iram was talking it up tonight because she saw the list of books I wanted to read. She also said that I need to read Wuthering Heights, and then follow it up with Persuasion. So I think I'll do that. Just to see the contrast.
I've got to pee so I'm going to leave you with If You Don't, Don't by Jimmy Eat World and bid you all adieu.
Enjoy that. And enjoy your weekends, in this BEAUTIFUL weather. I'll be working. But, you can still have your fun. Unless you're cooped up inside studying. In which case, I urge you to take an hour-long break and bask in the glorious sunshine. Take a walk, get your mind off the stress of exams. And then get back to work. Maybe study outside? Work on your tan while working your brain. I'm stopping.
Laterz.
xx
