BEDA Introduction

I sort of forgot all about the first day of BEDA - Blog Every Day in April, and since reading Ashley's blog, I saw HER intro blog. So I'm just copying all her stuff and going for it. I think she copied it from Lo, so technically I'm doing the same. Whateva.

Why I blog: I started to keep in touch with my friends Alex and Shoshana because they're both far away (in Ontario right now - Shoshana's leaving for Quebec soon, though). I won't get to see them until the summer and it's been entirely too long.

What
part of BEDA I’m most excited about: Reading all the other BEDA blogs. I already blog every single day, since August or September or something, so I'm just excited that my friends and the people I follow (who are also on Youtube) are going to be blogging a lot :)

Why I’m doing BEDA:  I might as well. Plus Lo came up with daily themes/topics for BEDA and it sounded like a good idea

How
I first discovered Maureen Johnson/BEDA: I read Bermudez Triangle a looong time ago. I actually thought it was going to be a boy/girl thing until it turned out to be a lesbian thing. So I was kind of weirded out, but I liked the book anyways. Then I lost track of her (much like John Green) until I found her again a few years ago via youtube, and I've been following her for a couple years now. Love her.

Something other BEDA people might not know about me: Well. I only realized it about myself last night on the way to Jeremy's, but I am really self-conscious about my feet. I always wore socks to peoples' houses because I wear flats a lot, and it just came to me last night why I do it. I feel like people are always staring at my feet for some reason.

Another blog I follow: Not going to link it, but I follow all the girls on my Youtube collab channel, a couple authors/Youtubers, and a few awesome friends.

A writer (of any kind) who inspires me: This is so typical to say, but John Green. It's not even his writing that inspires me (even though it's fracking amazing and Looking for Alaska was a work of literary genius) but it's just everything he says on Youtube/his blog/even on Twitter. He's just amazing.

A YouTube channel I love: Like Ashley, I'm on Youtube way too much. But I'm going to go with Julia Nunes 

A favorite quote: "In three words, I can sum up everything I've learned about life: It goes on" - Robert Frost. I'm not sure if this is my favorite, but I've always remembered it and loved the wisdom it comes along with. My friend Jessica used it as a grad quote (without giving credit to Bobby Frost, my man) and she was surprised someone (me) even got it. Because no one knows Frost, really. But I love him
