31.7

Tomorrow I am leaving for Abbotsford! I'm so excited. I was supposed to be there today but there were complications and this way I don't have to pay for a bus ticket anyways, and I'm just really super excited to go down and see all my friends (except Alex and Shoshana, the skanks). Speaking of Shoshana (but only really referring to the fact that she's on Katimavik right now) - MY FRIEND KELSEY WAS ACCEPTED INTO KATIMAVIK. She is FB friends with Shosh, but doesn't know her IRL, and at one point, I was hacked into Shoshana's account, and she was hacked into mine, and we both convinced Kelsey that Katimavik would be a good idea. I am so excited for her!

Anyways. Today's theme for BEDA is Weekly Wrap Up. So basically I get to tell you all about my boring week. Friday was pretty much the only eventful thing. Because of the aforementioned (last blog) drunken Scrabble game and ensuing phone call and altogether good time away from the drunken ones. To Jeremy's house where he and Zak played Hallelujah on piano and guitar, respectively. And then we watched The First Knight. I don't think I mentioned the movie in my last blog, but it was pretty fantastic. Guinevere was torn between Sean Connery (King Arthur, her husband) and Richard Gere (Lancelot). Personally, I would have chosen Sean Connery because he's a babe in comparison to Richard Gere. The girls and I basically made fun of him the whole time and dissected his "hooded eyelids" as Terra calls them. Kay, so other news.

THE SONG. This is the last song for British Week, and that sort of makes me sad. ALSO. Sorry, but before I get to that. Jaynie told me that Didi Benami was voted off American Idol. Which means I'm done watching. I am so upset. But I'm pretty sure she'll get a record deal, meaning I'll eventually buy or pirate one of her albums. What is wrong with me? I used to buy all my CDs. Then I stopped working and got poor, I guess. Sad how that happens. Kay, the song. My bad.

I'd go with the Rolling Stones but I fear I've used them far too recently. So it's going to be the Kinks, whom I love. I don't know if I've used this song before but it's about time I've had a repeater. Nevermind. I was going to use This Time Tomorrow but I'm going to go with A Well Respected Man instead because it's more... upbeat, I suppose. Plus I think a repeat would do something bad for my OCD.

Happy (EASTER) Sunday.

Love you all
xx

  2. Haha, that's awesome for Kelsey, I'll have to message her about it on fb. AND I DON'T SEE HOW THERE COULD BE A MOVIE ABOUT SOMEONE CHOOSING BETWEEN SEAN CONNERY AND RICHARD GERE. In a world where things made sense, the movie would be about 15 seconds long, and consist of Guinevere looking at RG, being nauseated and creeped out, then running towards Sean Connery.
