So today, I became rich. And then I bought my iPod touch. I already have instructions on my Facebook status on how to text me. Because I'm so cool that I've got a texting app. It's pretty simple, but I think it only works for North America. Still, you over-seas people should try and text me, to see if it works. But if you have TextPlus on your iPod touch/iPhone, then you can add my user name (myshangrila) and text me that way. I'm super excited about getting the touch and it turned me into a bad friend because I kind of ignored Hailey for a while.

This morning, I went out to breakfast with Louisa and Shilou, two friends from school. We went to IHOP (the last time I went was with them - over LAST winter break) and then we went to the mall and Best Buy (where I bought said iPod). Anyways, the whole traveling thing was a bit stressing today. I left the house, went down to the gas station to get change for bus money, then waited for the bus for 20/30 minutes. Then I started walking because I hate waiting for buses in the rain. Then the bus passed me. Of course. So I walked a bit more, found a pay phone, and called for a taxi (I still remembered the number because I am amazing). Then I got dropped off at IHOP, and did all aforementioned fun things. Then on the way back, I had JUST missed the bus, so I had to wait 45 minutes for it to come by again. Then there was a detour because of construction so I had no idea where the bus was taking us. And then I was like "Oh, this is the road where Shanna got off after school, and Shanna's super close to Hailey's place, so I can just get off here and walk."

Wrong bus stop. So I walked for a long time on Mountain Rd/Dr/Whatever until I found Whatcom and then I was like "YAAAY" but then I found out just how long the road was. Then I almost took a wrong turn, but I followed my gut and was right (actually surprising) and I made it there with minimal psychological damage. Then we went shopping at Wal-Mart (even though I was already at the mall). I bought two dresses. And Crest White Strips. We tried them today. Kind of weird. Don't know if I want to keep using them hah.

ANYWAYS, Hailey just went to sleep and I don't want to keep her awake with my tap-tap-tapping so I'm going to say adieu. I tried to ask her what song to use. Her response: "your mom". Today's BEDA theme is Things I Love Thursday. SOOO I love:

putting a smile on someone's face
getting a really good night's sleep

the people I've met through the internet

and loads of other things but, as I said before, GOOD NIGHT.

Today's Song... Waking up in Vegas. Because it was on TV a lot and Hailey had it stuck in her head. (We watched "My Date with... Katy Perry."

It's possible I've already used this song, but I'm done with the computer for now. Baii.
