34.7

So I'm kind of writing this while I watch Doctor Who because it's almost 3am and I have to multi-task.

Today was my first day of work. The day started off well, I was on time. But then I got to the mall and I was wearing a dress (it was kind of short so I wore tights underneath. But the tights are fairly see-through and I was wearing my underwear that says "Do you feel Jolie?") You can probably see where this is going. I was walking to work, IN the mall, and my backpack was making my dress ride up. I don't know how long it was there before I noticed, but I had just walked in front of a bunch of old people, so that was... lovely.

Anyways. Work itself was amazing. My boss, Chelsea, is wonderful. We get along super well and we spent the day talking and hanging out because it was super slow. And some old employees came by to visit, and they were also amazing. And a current employee, who I work with tomorrow. She seems awesome. They all seem awesome. Except one girl, but apparently she'll be fired before I even get to work with her. I met her once, handed her my resume and talked to her for a couple minutes. As long as she got me hired, I'm cool. But I guess everyone there hates her. But I get her hours so again, I'm cool.

PS Professor Song? As in the Vashta Nerada? I think so. The look on Matt Smith's face seems to indicate so. And the weeping angels! Lovely. Anyways, um. So work was good. Then I got home, made dinner. But Jeremy called before I could actually eat dinner and said he was picking me up for Toni's birthday (my Savior, got me out of the house and out of my mother's presence). So I went to Toni's party. And there were a bunch of people playing Mario Kart Wii (reminded me of TSR. Wish I could play with you girls) and then we went to the park to play Bases. I won every round (finishing = winning so a lot of people won. I'm not that good to finish first) but then first base was to climb up the slide and I got there last so I was laying down on the slide when she stopped counting.

And she saw me, so I was out. Then Jeremy was it and he got me behind a garbage can. There were four of us behind the garbage can, but I was cold and wore Nathan's red sweater, so he knew it was me. He also knew Terra was with me but apparently wasn't allowed to guess again. Anyways, we went back to Toni/Terra/Jo's place and watched Jurassic Park. Which is longer than it was supposed to be, I guess. OH. And right before the movie started, I spilled punch on my lap. So my pants were soaking wet and I was cold and it was awesome. Then everyone fell asleep during the movie and it took me some time to build up the heart to wake Jeremy up. They all looked so peaceful.

Me: Can we go home now?
Jeremy: Yeah. *Back to sleep*
Me: sigh.

Then I waited for Zak to wake him up, because Zak was like "Um, I need to sleep. Can you drive me to my car?" And then Jeremy was all "Sure. 30 seconds" Then we helped Terra clean up and then we left and I got home at like 2:30. I work at 12:30 tomorrow so I need to wake up two hours before that. Probably not, though. I could technically do it like, an hour and a half. Or an hour and fifteen minutes. But considering I haven't finished making my lunch yet, that won't work. I'd make my lunch now but the parents are talking outside and it sounds serious. I don't want to interrupt. I plan on finishing Doctor Who (maybe) and then going to bed. I might just leave DW for tomorrow because I am SOOOOOO freaking tired.

Something that I don't understand about the Weeping Angels is like, you can't blink. But you can close one eye at a time to moisturize. I guess the big thing is that it's just scary to look at or something. Crap, is Amy the angel? I'll have to wait until tomorrow, I am sooo flippin beat.

I think I've already used Blink by Chameleon Circuit for this blog, so I'm going to go with Count the Shadows. It will only make sense to those of you Whovians, but I liked it before I saw the episode.

Quick summary for those of you that haven't seen it: They're in an abandoned library. It's abandoned because of the Vashta Nerada - shadow creatures that basically, like, eat you. They can be in ANY shadow, but not ALL shadows. So the thing is to count the shadows of each person and if one person has more than one shadow, they're about to die, and they need to leave. Thus the name, Count the Shadows. I know, I suck at summaries. Deal with it.

Love you all
xx
