Alex, you're totally going to have to kick my butt because it's tomorrow and I still haven't sent you any Tegan and Sara. I'm a horrible person, involved in a horrible, horrible television show. Now that I've watched like, 12 episodes of this television show, I can safely say what I think of it. And I can tell you the name. I HATE IT. But I can't stop watching it. It's kind of like... if I had something better to do with my time, I would not be watching Gossip Girl. But because I'm just sitting at home doing nothing anyways, I'm watching it. And not completely hating it. I hate myself for it, though.
I also started watching Life Unexpected because the previews looked good and Lo said she likes it. It's pretty good, I watched about 7 episodes of that. And I still haven't watched LOST. But I'll get to it eventually. Hopefully before Saturday, when I leave for ABBOTSFORD. The day has come so fast. The only problem is that if I don't have money in my bank account by tomorrow, I probably can't go. Unless my mum wants to buy me a bus ticket. I'd hold out for Friday usually, but it's Good Friday and all government offices are closed by law.
Speaking of laws, I've been telling my parents for a while that I should be leaving my bike in the parking garage because 1. I'm probably not allowed a bike in the building and 2. I think it'd be safer underground instead of on the patio because steel rusts and people can see it and/or steal it and 3. It's really annoying to have to take it into the building, up through the elevator, down the hallways, into the apartment, and out again onto the patio. But my parents reassured me saying it was fine because the bike was on the patio, not IN the building. They also said it would probably be safer on the patio, and that I wouldn't want to take it into the parking garage because there are like five doors.
Well this morning, we got a warning from Strata saying we weren't allowed taking bikes on elevators, through hallways, or to leave them on patios. The fine is 200 dollars if the situation isn't "remeided". Yep, she actually spelled it like that. Speaking of "she", her name is Cindy. And it came to my attention that people named Cindy are all total hoe-bags. Except my friend Cindy because she's lovely. But I mean, the woman at Shoshana's dad's job, whom I almost immediately labeled (and correctly, might I add) "The Office Nazi" turned out to be named Cindy. And the mean person in the office at my old high school was named Cindy - Diane was the nice one, and I kind of miss her.
Anyways. This Cindy woman lives right across the hall. I know this because she saw me going into our apartment a couple days ago with the bike. She's the only one who's seen me. Then today after I put my bike into the parking garage and locked it onto Joe's lock, I came back up through the elevator, WITH FREAKIN' CINDY, THE STRATA NEIGHBOR. And then we walked to our doors together and I flipped her the mental bird. So back to my sanity...
The song today is by Maximo Park. I kinda like 'em. And I kinda like their song Wasteland. So that's the song today. Or it was until I saw there were no Youtube videos except live ones. So we're going to go with... In Another World.
So enjoy that. Shoshana and Alex, phone call tonight? Last one for a couple weeks because I'll be gone :(
So basically if you miss it, I will never forgive you.
Love you all,
xx
