So I came to this realization as I was searching the publication date for the next Spellman book. I just finished the third one and I was planning on killing Lisa Lutz (the author). Then I found out that the next book is being published on March 16th. Which is 45 days away. So the realization I came to: my 18th birthday is in 40 days. Holy crap.
The Spellmans Strike Again is going to be the greatest birthday present to myself. I am so stoked, you have no idea. I already have a list of books I'm going to get.** The third shelf (from the bottom) on my bookcase is looking really empty. Except for a recipe for salmon quiche (never tried it) and a shirt I need to bleach before Sunday (thanks for reminding me). Also reminding me of the fact I have actual laundry to do tomorrow. Bleach the shirt overnight and wash it all in the morning. Woot. Before this blog post gets TOO long, I'm stopping.
Today's song: Love is All Around by the Troggs. It was on the soundtrack to Four Weddings and a Funeral (I love it. I'm biased because I love Hugh Grant, though) and it was also in Love, Actually. Which was another Hugh Grant movie. Sensing a pattern? I really love him. Anyways yeah.
Eggwich count: 4
Disneyland in: 160
Abbotsford in: 62
Birthday in: 40 (I don't usually do this, but I think it's necessary in anticipation of this book binge)
** the full list of books I'm going to buy:
Suite Scarlett (amazing!) and Scarlett Fever (comes out THIS MONDAY, although there have been reports of people acquiring this book early via begging) by Maureen Johnson
A Great and Terrible Beauty (also, Rebel Angels and the other books in this series) by Libba Bray.
Wake and Fade by Lisa McMann (at Anna's recommendation)
World War Z (It's about Zombies. This fact alone is enough of a reason. Also the guy that recommended it to me on Twitter has just passed the part in his relationship where he's told the girl he loves her and she has replied in a like manner, so I am buying this book for myself, in congratulations for them.)
Keeping the Moon (the only Sarah Dessen book I like that I do not own. There were only two I didn't like. But I never actually read them, so that could be the reason.)
Uglies/Pretties/Extras series by Scott Westerfield/feld? Meh
ALSO The Revenge of the Spellmans. It's the one I just finished reading. It would be weird if I owned 1-2 and 4.
Also - not a book, but I'm so getting All Caps' new album.
Sorry for the massive amounts of writing here.
