I feel so out of it because this makes it a week since we've spoken on Skype. Gah. Also, I have decided to abandon you both for Institute on Wednesdays, if that's cool. We can choose a different day, or just stick to Sunday. Because Alex is tired of going to bed at two, I thought it was something to think about.
Anyways. Today, I went to the library with my mom (got a card, finally) and took out two Kathy Reichs books (the new one, and an old one I haven't read yet) and the FIRST Sherlock Holmes novel, and a couple others. Also, there's a book blow-out sale on Saturday, so I'm probably going to that. My bookshelf has been looking empty.
Then we went to various stores to buy food (AND HERBAL TEA. Except she forgot the sugar, so it's pointless) and then we went to lunch.
I also started a sewing project tonight. Shoshana, you will probably remember the day when the lights went out at school, on FORMAL DAY so I was wearing a dress. And the zipper broke when I was putting it back on after superfit. But we got to go home so I changed back into my gym strip and did that. Well, I haven't gotten the zipper fixed, so I decided to make it into like, a lace-up thing. So I'm taking the drawstring from my brown sack dress because it was time to let go. It was only seven sizes too big... And yeah, I'm basically going to do that. So I got rid of the zipper and sewed it back up until I realized I can't sew by hand. So I'm using Liqui-Stitch. I may have ruined two dresses. One on purpose and one accidentally. Still, I never would have attempted anything like this before, so it's progress.
(Now I won't yell at you when you suggest I start sewing, Shoshana. Sorry)
Anyways. Today's song needs no introduction. So I'll just leave you with it :)
Speaking of Beauty and the Beast, there was a Fran Drescher movie, the Beautician and the Beast. I saw it a million years ago, but I'm pretty sure I'd still like it.

Unsexy: That 169 days is still a pretty long time.

Oh man I totally miss sewing! I need to start getting back into stuff liket that. SOMETHING creative at least. Its a part that I am really lacking here because the only thing I ever CREATE is essays. Blah. Whoop-dee-doo. I'll write something that I'll never look at again. Who gives?
