So I kind of feel like today's song should be one about New Year's. But it isn't going to be.
At first I was not looking forward to New Year's, because I had no party to go to, nothing to do. My mom didn't even buy me sparkling juice, but she got wine and champagne. By the way, the champagne top/plug/thing almost hit me on the back of the head when they popped it off. At ten thirty. So around eight or nine, I crawled out of my hole and flicked on the tv while the parental unit was playing crib. I know, so hardcore. And I watched Die Hard. Then we pulled out some rice crackers and havarti cheese because that's the most unhealthy thing my mom will buy. So we ate some of that. And continued watching Die Hard. I declined to play Yahtzee because it's never fun when my mom's drunk.
Anyways, at a few minutes to midnight, I went back to my room and started playing Air Supply because I had mentioned on Facebook that's how I would spend my New Year's. And I wasn't going to go back on a Facebook promise. Then I went on msn and Paul was on, so I said hey and we talked for a bit, but he had to go to bed in order to wake up at 6, which I think is crazy the day after New Year's. And now it's 3 am and I'm up, writing this blog post. Then I'm going to film my first Squirrel Rebellion video and post it to youtube. You guys don't have to watch my videos because you're busy and there will be too many this year. You only need to concern yourselves with OUR videos. And the lipsyncs, because I mean, you have to.
Shoshana, I know I said I was over it (and I am) but I just have to do it one more time: NICOLAS CAGE SEX FACE.
Alex, you're going back to res on Sunday, which is... probably a little bittersweet?

ReplyDeleteAnd I have to ask you because I've seen it a couple different places, what is with the squirrel thing? I don't get it. Yeah so I am pretty excited about these videos. They are going to be pretty good I think. Ummm in other news, I hope this first day of the year isn't a forecast for the rest of it because its been incredibly lazy. Pulled myself out of bed around 1, looked at old photos a while with Bailey. Then we went back to my room and watched a couple epidsodes of the office. Walked down the street to get pizza and then I fell asleep watching Pirates 2. I think I better do some more physical activity so that I have at least a little energy.
