AMERICAN IDOL. It was on earlier than I expected so I got to watch it all before Jeremy picked me up.
I'm not going to talk about it as much as I did last night, but I would just like to say: Katelyn and Didi are still my favorites. I don't think I'd heard Siobhan before and she was amazing, and Lilly Scott was amazing, but both of them just annoy me for some reason. And everyone else tonight was... just okay. Wait, I lied. Michelle Delamor! I hate Creed, but I love her. So I guess those are my top three this week?
BUT DIDI, HOMG. (Kay, fine, talking about it a little). Okay, so I think the judges were right in saying Lean on Me wasn't the right song and whatever, but it's just one of those songs that ALWAYS gets me. I had an obligation to love her performance tonight. And KATELYN. COLDPLAY. The judges were saying it was too slow, but I mean, I like that kind of music. I thought it was awesome. Totally loved it. She was incredible. Okay. Done. :) (And Ashley is friends with Katelyn. So I'm double-voting for her. Except I can't vote *sad face*)
Oh. So during Idol, there was some commercial with Cindy Crawford, and it showed her hugging her two children. HOLY CRAP. They are freaking GORGEOUS. I did not look like that when I was their age. Is it weird that I'm jealous of like... ten year olds right now?
So anyways, Jeremy picked me up for institute tonight, but he had to go to Vernon for his mission interview**. So he couldn't drive me back. And Zak went with him for his interview. So both people that routinely gave me rides weren't there. And the Rempels are going to be away for a couple weeks, so THEY couldn't drive me. So Fiona drove me home. I felt bad because she was also driving Kassandra and Rob home, and I think they live on the other side of town, so I was kind of out of the way. But I mean, I had to get home. I wasn't going to walk. On Friday I was willing to walk. Tonight, I wasn't.
Um. I was going to say something else. But I forgot. So yeah, moving again. Woot? In eleven days now. All my books are packed, I'm ready to go... But I'm not really ready. I just have that song stuck in my head so THAT will be the song of the day. I will post FOUR versions. The John Denver version, the Glee version, the Chantal Kreviazuk and the Armageddon version. Choose you this day whom you will... listen to.
Spanish subtitles make it sexier.
Dumbo makes it sexier.
This doesn't need anything to make it sexier. It's gorgeous.
** WOOOT, MISSION INTERVIEWS. So stoked for them both. They looked super snazzy in their suits.
So enjoy.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go see a man about a 1990s movie collection.
