Today's song is by one of my all-time favorites. I've loved them for so long I'd be really surprised if I haven't told you about them yet. They are Canadian, so you have to like them, haha.
This isn't the song I was going to choose for today, but I couldn't find the one I actually wanted on the youtube finder thing this editor has. So, anyways, this one is Crystine's favorite by them. Back in Your Head by Tegan and Sara.
The thing I love about them (other than the music, and everything) is that they don't have a designated lead singer. Basically, whoever writes the song, gets to sing it on the album and whenever they perform live. So, this one is Sara's song (I believe). I wasn't paying much attention. Anyways. Here it is. :)

My grade 10 english teacher was related to Tegan and Sara. Cool, right?
ReplyDeleteI just finished analyzing this huge essay on multiculturalism in Canada and then the start of the video was with the white crowd and the black guy and I immediately couldn't help but think of the essay I just read. Now I have to write 1500 words on it, even though I don't have too much to say. But that is what essays are for the most part, BS. Well, they were in high school. I'm not sure if it will be different in the coming months but so far its not.
Btw, I really like this song. Not just because they are Canadian (although that does already make me biased) but I genuinely like their style.
