Here begins a new segment

I'm going to call this segment "I like this song and so should you".

So I know I kind of dropped like, seventeen balls there. But I'm back. Ish.

When I was writing every day, I kind of had to force myself to find a song and that got me stressed out - albeit on a tiny scale - and I ended up posting songs that I felt mediocre about. I've just decided to post songs when I really want you guys to hear it. Whether it's one you've heard, or one you haven't, or one that makes me laugh or cry or is just great to sing along to. I want to share that with you.

I'm going to start with Til Kingdom Come by Coldplay because I've been listening to it a lot. Now, I know this will killlll Alex but I'm not actually a huge Coldplay fan. I mean, I like all their recent singles and I definitely don't HATE them at all, but I also just don't listen to them all that much. Then I found this song, which was actually because I downloaded a playlist about how Ron Swanson feels about bacon.

And this does accurately sum up his relationship with bacon, as well as Alex's relationship with a male violinist who is actually straight, and Shoshana's relationship with a very large man who has a great beard and plays ukulele and/or sings really well. Also my relationship with my future cats.

At any rate, here it is:

With that, I hope you have a great day and that all your lives are going well and such.

xx

  1. PANSED lives! Although now the acronym has to change because, if I remember correctly, the "ED" stands for "each day."
First of all, AMAZING CHOICE for this blog rejuvenation. I whole-heartedly support both the song and the idea to post songs as they come to you. Chances are I won't fall behind now haha.
Next of all, I have to admit I've been waning in my Coldplay fanship because of the new albums. In my humble opinion, Mylo Xyloto has some catchy tunes, and Viva La Vida was decently good in the day, but neither compare to their first three albums. If I were stuck on a desert island and could only take 3 cds, I think Rush of Blood to the head would be one of them. (the other two would be Neutral Milk Hotel and one of the Bon Iver albums, I think).
Also, you must mean with a male violinist who happens to NOT be straight. Otherwise we would be hitched by now with a fiddling infant tearing up the Canadian folk scene.
