35.6

Soo I just got back from work. And while I am not tired, I am exhausted. However, I'll force myself to go to bed because I need to wake up at 6:30 tomorrow. Woot. But everything went well. Today was my first day as acting manager. Apparently my boss was fired yesterday, in the process of TRYING to fire this Moni chick. Who still works there, btw. I'm working with her tomorrow. I worked with Frankie for a couple hours today but she left early. Also, I was late to work. I was making cookies at like, a quarter to one. And Frankie called and was all "You start at 12:30" and I was like "No, I start at 5:30". But apparently Iram started at 5:30 and I messed our schedules up. So I was there for 1:30, at any rate. And Iram is lovely to work with.

We talked about Doctor Who and Little Britain, and also David Tennant, of course. She's from London (ish) and we were talking about all the things most people here don't know like DW, etc for TV. But also some terminology. She was pretty happy to find out I knew some stuff. She was also quite ashamed when I mentioned N-Dubz. Because really... if I was from England, I'd be ashamed too. The only reason I mentioned it was because I downloaded a Top 40 list to listen to at work, but I accidentally downloaded the UK Top 40. And N-Dubz was on it. The word "chav" definitely came out of my mouth at some point during the conversation.

Anyways, we had fun talking about that. I thought she'd be really quiet because Frankie had already worked with her and said she was really quiet, but we were talking pretty much the whole time. And she's awesome. We're all really torn up that Chelsea is leaving though. I was just getting used to her leaving in two weeks. Then I find out she was fired and Moni wasn't! GRAAWR. And Moni was entered into the system as asst. manager just for payroll reasons, but Frankie thought she was asst manager as a permanent position so she was really upset because that's the position she wants.

But our District Manager is coming down some time this week to speak with me and see if I'd make a good fit as manager and hopefulllly he'll ask who I want as assistant manager and I'll be like FRANKIE PLZ.

Seriously, I'm bringing this Moni biotch down. She got Chelsea fired, and Chelsea was amazing and I miss her. Plus I don't know if I can handle the manager position. I mean, everything was fine today, but I practically drove myself crazy. In one day. I was like "Everything has to be perfect so I can prove I'm a good manager" *twitch*. But I didn't have any problems closing, and opening is supposed to be even easier.

I just made a to-do list for Saturday and Sunday when I'm working so I can keep busy and organize the store. Plus the weekends are the busy days for paperwork. Gah. Anyways, none of you care about this. I'm complaining about a possible promotion while some of you are still trying to find work. AND ITS FRIDAY AND I NEED TO MAKE MY VIDEO. Crap, it's coming.

Okay. So the song is Meant to Live by Switchfoot.

Awesome. Aaand the counts. Sandwich counts are the same.

35.5

So I started this last night, which led me to believe I had actually finished it.

But it's Friday now so I'm going to tell you about my yesterday. It was alright. I went into work to pick up my keys and sign some papers. So now I'm a keyholder. But then Chelsea (my crazy amazing manager) told me she quit. Meaning Frankie and I will be probably be managers soon. Frankie has been working at Randy River for longer, but I've already worked for the company so I'm not sure who is going to work as manager. Chelsea said she'd make Frankie asst manager and me her replacement but I don't know. I've been working there a week, it would be crazy to make me any kind of manager. As long as Moni gets fired (which should have happened yesterday), I will be some kind of manager. Because Iram was hired the day after me so I have more seniority, and Reign is only part-time.

This is so crazy though. I am going to miss Chelsea. But hopefully she'll go work at Ripcurl like Robert and Amy (who left Randy River like 2 weeks ago) because then she'd probably come by and visit like Robert and Amy always do. Anyways, yeah. That was pretty much my day. Well, and I tried to go to Toni's house to drop off the socks I borrowed but I forgot which house was hers. So when I got to work, I tried to call Jeremy but I think he was at work and he was also probably going "Who is this Randy River guy? I don't know him". So yeah, don't know.

AND ANNNNA. I went to the library and got WAKE. They FINALLY got it in for me. And Uglies came in for me today so I'm going to pick that up on my way to work and just read. At work. Because it's so un-busy there it's ridiculous.

Anyways. I do have to work today. I think I already told you guys about my no-sleep schedule. And it's going to be totally awesome...  I asked my mom to drive me to work on Saturday so I could save like, an hour on sleep. And she laughed. Then gave me a whole speech about having to make my own way in the world and being able to count on myself. And I was like "I know I can do it, I'd just rather not that particular morning". And apparently she's done driving her kids around.

Unfortunately, she barely drove me anywhere. She drove Kelley and Beth lots of places. And if Connor asked for a ride, sure. But by the time I got to the age where I needed rides to places because I actually had friends that wanted to do things, she didn't want to drive me. And my siblings always think being the youngest means being the favorite. Really, it just means the parents get too tired to care. At least in my family.

Anyways. I want to make cookies (even though we just finished the cheesecake yesterday) but I want chocolate chip cookies, and we haven't got chocolate chips. And gingersnaps take a long time. And I don't like oatmeal raisin, and we don't have any good peanut butter, and I don't think I've made any other kinds of cookies that we currently have the ingredients for. So basically, gingersnaps is my only option. Which I might still do. I know this is so riveting for you all. Go while you still can.

The song is going to be Let Me Sign by Robert Pattinson because it just started playing and also because I respect him more as a singer than I do as Edward Cullen. All his other movies were awesome, though.

BRB fire alarm.

Dude's probably just testing it. If I never blog again, you know what happened. Anyways, the song.

Oh, and I haven't done this before, but I think I'm going to steal it from Kristina.

I'm going to let you decipher the reason for that google search...

35.4

The snozberries taste like snozberries. Mahh. Sorry, I'm watching Super Troopers right meow. I had pretty much forgotten about the movie until I started working at Randy River, because Chelsea always says "Stripe your card right meow," and stuff like that, so it reminded me of the movie. Love it. Suuuch a bad movie, but I love it.

"I'll pistol whip the next person that says Shenanigans!"

*Yells down hall* "Hey Farva, what's the name of that restaurant you like, with all the goofy crap on the wall and the mozzarella sticks?"

"You mean Shenanigans? You're talking about Shenanigans, right?"

Ahhh, good times. So anyways. I went to work today to pick up my keys but the girl I was going to be stealing the keys from wasn't supposed to be there until 5:30 (I got there at 4:30) so I was like: Kay, I'm coming back tomorrow. And I went home to make dinner. Stir-fry. And we had cheezcayk for dinner, which I had made previously. I wanted to watch some Friends, but the episodes I have are all glitchy and it was annoying so I gave up. Then I watched Shanghai Noon. And like, the first half of The Lovely Bones but it was soooo freaking boring. I gave up.

Which is cool because I'd rather catch up on Glee and Bones.

So on Friday, I work form 5:30-9:30. Then on Saturday, I work at 8:30 in the morning. Meaning I need to be up at like, 6:30-7. After which I will open the store, and work until 6:00 close. It's going to be... pretty awesome. I'm just excited for my 9:30 shift on Friday because it means I'll be biking home in the dark and I totally get to wear my reflective vest. So ballin.

ALSO. When I was working on Sunday, Robert came in (Chelsea's old manager. He comes in all the time and he's wonderful). But I was asking him a question (probably something about his iPhone) and he was like: You're my biggest fan? Apparently he has a history of mishearing things that end up being so much funnier for it. But then we all laughed and he was all "Now I'm disappointed" so then when he was dancing to some music, I was like "Hey Robert, I'm your biggest fan" and he was all "I KNEW IT".

But yeah. He likes me because on the first day, he was going to Starbucks and asked if I wanted anything and I was like "I don't drink coffee" but he's like "They have more than just coffee" so I was like "sure, I'll have something" and then he was all oh that's awesome because usually people are too polite on the first day to say they want anything. So I couldn't decided what I wanted and told him to surprise me and he got me some raspberry thing that was delicious.

And there's this guy that I haven't worked with yet (I've actually only worked with Frankie and Chelsea so far, so I still need to work with Moni and Iram as well) but he's on vacation. Chelsea and Frankie keep telling me how attractive he is, and I'm pretty excited to meet him.

Ennyvays. I should end this because it's getting pretty lengthy and I want to get to Bones before I die of sleepyness. So the song today is going to be Hollywood by Cute is What We Aim For.

Shosh, Alex, I'ma call you tonight. Love you biotches.

35.3

Today was good. I woke up late, but made it to work twenty minutes early anyways. And it was super slow so Chelsea let me play games on my iPod, and then we played Crazy Eights (where I dominated every single round, until she decided never to play that game with me ever again). But when Frankie and I played on Sunday, I won every round then too. They can't beat me there.

When I woke up, it was super hot so I put on a dress and tights. Then I looked outside and it was like, cloudy. But my mom said it was actually pretty warm so I didn't bother changing. And it was pretty warm. The bike ride over was nice, like the perfect temperature. But on the ride home, it started raining. And I wasn't too worried because it doesn't rain super hard in Kelowna and I was all "it'll be fine until I get home" but of course I was fooling myself. About half way through, it was like, torrential downpour. Not really, but I exaggerate. Anyways, the people driving by must have thought I was crazy.

I was singing along to my iPod (stuffed down my shirt for safe-keeping. Didn't want it getting wet in the basket) and smiling because what else was I going to do? Yeah, it was raining, and yeah, it was cold. But there was nothing I could do to change that. Might as well sing along to some Mika, y'know? Plus, I love rain. Love love love it. So yeah, I was smiling like an idiot and screaming "THIS IS THE WAY YOU LEFT ME, I'M NOT PRETENDING" in the rain. Whatevs. When I got back to the building, my tires were clean but there was muddy water all over my bike. I might clean it later on or something. It's getting kind of nasty from all the biking. Meh.

Also, I was promoted to Keyholder. Or I will be tomorrow, when I go in to sign my Keyholder papers and get the actual keys. It's going to be sweet. It's not like a pay raise, just an increase in hours. But there will be a raise for everyone when the company switches from Randy River over to International. Which is weird because at International I was making 8/hr and now I'm making 8/hr, but I guess because of all the crap we're going to have to deal with, there's a pay bump. Probably like ten cents, knowing the cheapness of this company. But whatever, I like working there and the people are awesome.

Anyways. I only had salad for dinner due to my dislike of baked potatoes and steak. Even though I should probably eat some steak because I'm probably anemic. Which is awesome. Kay, so, point. I'm going to make pancakes maybe. And I've written a list for things to get with my first paycheck -

passport
bread

that's it. I just hate the bread we have. It's only good for toast. So I'm buying my own. And then I can make nice sandwiches, nice french toast, all that stuff. And I need a passport to potentially go down to Seattle in May and see Paramore. Iiif I get the passport in time. If not, a passport will come in handy anyways.

So yeah. I'm going to leave you with Happy Ending by Mika because it's been stuck in my head for four hours and I love it. Bai.

Good night

35.2

Today's BEDA theme is Addictions, I think. My addictions are:

herbal tea
making lists
reading
tv shows
staying up late
smoothies
cream cheese
music
Youtube (and the rest of the internet, excluding porn sites, foreign sites, and foreign porn sites)
MOAR APPS for my iPod
buying things I don't need (hoping this will soon change)
tacky nail polish
socks
downloading lame movies and watching them

and other stuff that I can't think of atm, but I have lots.

Anyways, my day was rad. I know that word is so 7th grade but I find myself liking it. So yeah. I kind of cleaned my room. There's nothing left on my floor (except the clothes I plan to throw out/donate) and the clothes left on my bed that need to be put away/hung up. But at least it's not the vacuous slut of a mess it was before. Also, I am in more pain today than yesterday. The Tiger Balm didn't really help.

And I woke up with a cold (or something like it. My voice sucked and my nose was runny and everything sucked) but it's kind of gone now? I don't know. Anyways, so that was happening. And I was in so much pain from everything else I didn't even notice my period cramps (I can say that here because no boys read my blog). Aaanyways, yeah. Today was still good because of secret shenanigans happening on Facebook.

Speaking of Facebook, Ashley recommended this song for my blahg and I am not one to turn down songs because it means I don't have to think about it, so here is Chelsea Williams with "I Stole Your Boots"

Have a nice day

Before I Die

I've always like the idea of a Bucket List. But I've always been too scared to write my own because I'm afraid that I won't accomplish any of them before I die and then when I do die, I'll be all like, "Dang, I failed". But I've decided to write one anyways because I downloaded the app 101 things to do before you die and while pretty much all the ideas sucked, it reminded me that there are some things I'd like to accomplish in life. So here's my Bucket List that will probably be a work in progress. Whether or not any progress actually occurs.

Bungee jump
Go to a karaoke bar and perform a song sober
Write a book
Go kayaking with someone who is not directionally challenged
Put a message in a bottle and wait for an answer
Have an eating contest at a buffet
Go honest-to-goodness camping
See something on Broadway
Go Geo-caching
Understand fully what geo-caching actually is
Ride the Kingda Ka
Visit the UK
Go to a Wildlife/Natural Park
Finish a New York Times crossword puzzle without cheating
Have a movie marathon all night with friends, where everyone actually stays up
Visit an aquarium
Have a separate room for all my books
Go on an airplane

That's all I can think of right now. But I'm pretty sure I'll be adding onto this. Tell me what you want to do before you die.

35.1

So I'm finished Doctor Who and I'm almost caught up on Gossip Girl. All my other shows are up to date. And I worked today so Shosh, Alex, sorry I didn't phone you. I got home at like, 7:30ish and then I ate and forgot all about it. Didn't even really know it was Sunday. Sorry :(

But I'm really sore today. I'm pretty sure it's because of Bases last night and then biking all the time, and being on my feet all day. Whatever the case, I just feel like bathing in a giant tub of Tiger Balm. Instead, I'm slathering it on my shoulders and all over my back and owww. Anyways, I'm not complaining. Because like, I have a job. An awesome job. Where I can play cards and not get in trouble, or sit on the counters, and barely need to work or clean. It's so dead in that store. And I love it, because the people I work with are amazing.

Anyways, I'm going to end this because it's 20 after 1am and I'm tired and I plan on sleeping in and also using way more Tiger Balm than I already have. So the song of the day is...

Don't Look Back by She and Him. Because it's on my Sleep playlist and it's happening right nao.

34.7

So I'm kind of writing this while I watch Doctor Who because it's almost 3am and I have to multi-task.

Today was my first day of work. The day started off well, I was on time. But then I got to the mall and I was wearing a dress (it was kind of short so I wore tights underneath. But the tights are fairly see-through and I was wearing my underwear that says "Do you feel Jolie?") You can probably see where this is going. I was walking to work, IN the mall, and my backpack was making my dress ride up. I don't know how long it was there before I noticed, but I had just walked in front of a bunch of old people, so that was... lovely.

Anyways. Work itself was amazing. My boss, Chelsea, is wonderful. We get along super well and we spent the day talking and hanging out because it was super slow. And some old employees came by to visit, and they were also amazing. And a current employee, who I work with tomorrow. She seems awesome. They all seem awesome. Except one girl, but apparently she'll be fired before I even get to work with her. I met her once, handed her my resume and talked to her for a couple minutes. As long as she got me hired, I'm cool. But I guess everyone there hates her. But I get her hours so again, I'm cool.

PS Professor Song? As in the Vashta Nerada? I think so. The look on Matt Smith's face seems to indicate so. And the weeping angels! Lovely. Anyways, um. So work was good. Then I got home, made dinner. But Jeremy called before I could actually eat dinner and said he was picking me up for Toni's birthday (my Savior, got me out of the house and out of my mother's presence). So I went to Toni's party. And there were a bunch of people playing Mario Kart Wii (reminded me of TSR. Wish I could play with you girls) and then we went to the park to play Bases. I won every round (finishing = winning so a lot of people won. I'm not that good to finish first) but then first base was to climb up the slide and I got there last so I was laying down on the slide when she stopped counting.

And she saw me, so I was out. Then Jeremy was it and he got me behind a garbage can. There were four of us behind the garbage can, but I was cold and wore Nathan's red sweater, so he knew it was me. He also knew Terra was with me but apparently wasn't allowed to guess again. Anyways, we went back to Toni/Terra/Jo's place and watched Jurassic Park. Which is longer than it was supposed to be, I guess. OH. And right before the movie started, I spilled punch on my lap. So my pants were soaking wet and I was cold and it was awesome. Then everyone fell asleep during the movie and it took me some time to build up the heart to wake Jeremy up. They all looked so peaceful.

Me: Can we go home now?
Jeremy: Yeah. *Back to sleep*
Me: sigh.

Then I waited for Zak to wake him up, because Zak was like "Um, I need to sleep. Can you drive me to my car?" And then Jeremy was all "Sure. 30 seconds" Then we helped Terra clean up and then we left and I got home at like 2:30. I work at 12:30 tomorrow so I need to wake up two hours before that. Probably not, though. I could technically do it like, an hour and a half. Or an hour and fifteen minutes. But considering I haven't finished making my lunch yet, that won't work. I'd make my lunch now but the parents are talking outside and it sounds serious. I don't want to interrupt. I plan on finishing Doctor Who (maybe) and then going to bed. I might just leave DW for tomorrow because I am SOOOOOO freaking tired.

Something that I don't understand about the Weeping Angels is like, you can't blink. But you can close one eye at a time to moisturize. I guess the big thing is that it's just scary to look at or something. Crap, is Amy the angel? I'll have to wait until tomorrow, I am sooo flippin beat.

I think I've already used Blink by Chameleon Circuit for this blog, so I'm going to go with Count the Shadows. It will only make sense to those of you Whovians, but I liked it before I saw the episode.

Quick summary for those of you that haven't seen it: They're in an abandoned library. It's abandoned because of the Vashta Nerada - shadow creatures that basically, like, eat you. They can be in ANY shadow, but not ALL shadows. So the thing is to count the shadows of each person and if one person has more than one shadow, they're about to die, and they need to leave. Thus the name, Count the Shadows. I know, I suck at summaries. Deal with it.

Love you all

34.6

I start work tomorrow. And there are tiny acrobats in my stomach doing a very complicated routine, at the thought of that. Anyways. I'm in the middle of packing my backpack for that, and I sprayed the bottom of my dress with Febreze in order to de-wrinkle it. It actually worked pretty well. And I think because I'll be wearing tights, I can just wear it on my bike ride tomorrow, too. So I don't have to go through the whole complicated mess of changing in a tiny mall bathroom stall.

I spoke to Alex for like, seven minutes today. I was going to text her after I finished my Squirrel Rebellion video, but RIGHT when I clicked publish, it was all "Alex Loewen is calling" on Skype, so I answered and we talked for a bit. She basically just wanted to show me her haircut (which is supermegafoxyawesomehot, by the way). I feel privileged to have been among the first to see it.

Speaking of Alex, I need to finish writing letters. As I said before, there were 4 letters waiting for me when I got home, and I've been responding in order of how I got them. So I started at the top of the pile and am making my way down (just so you all know there are no favorites). I've finished Anna's and I'm halfway through Alex's. It always takes me a super long time to write to Alex or Shoshana. I feel because we've known each other a long time, it takes more than it usually would to impress them. I'm really kidding though. It probably takes less because we know each other so well. It's just that we write SO MUCH and I feel the need to tell them everything so it takes a while. Anyways...

Today's song is Going Down the Bayou from the Princess and the Frog, because I just watched it again, and I love it, and it's definitely for Hailey (so I hope you're reading this). Ray is her favorite. And my favorite, actually. He's awesome. ScribeFire won't let me write anything AFTER the video, so bye for now, wish me luck, and I love you all.

Dear Shoshana: things I wanted to hear tonight - your voice over the phone.
things I didn't want to hear tonight - my mom and grandma talking about their sex lives.
I blame you.

And once again, I was almost asleep when I remembered about this. So hi.

Alex, I sent you a bajillion links and pretty much raped your facebook page. It was supermegafoxyawesomehot talking to you, at any rate. My pancakes were a major disappointment, in case you were wondering. And my bookshelf is crooked but I'll fix it tomorrow. Other things I'll do tomorrow - clean my room, fix my iTunes library (removing songs I don't like to save space on my iPod). And probably go for a bike ride, and if I still have time, watch some Gossip Girl. I want to go to bed early because I have to wake up at 7-ish on Saturday. Working is fun.

Anyways, I asked Ashley for the song (yesterday, remember?) and she gave me two so I'm going to use the second one NAO. Turn it Up by Stereos.

Also, the BEDA theme is weather stories. I don't have too many, except that one Boxing Day with Mitchell but I'm pretty sure I've gone into that at least once on this blog.

34.4

I start work today. Which is crazy. It all happened so fast. Anyways. After extensive research over texting, skype, and facebook, I have finally decided what to wear. But I'm not going to tell you all. Muahaha. So yeah. I'm thinking I'll bike over there at noon, even though I don't have to be there until one. It takes like, half an hour to bike there, but I've got to change and get unsweaty in the mall bathroom, plus it's good to be early. So yeah. I'm excited. If you hadn't noticed from every single post this week. My bad.

Um. So today... not a lot happened. Went to get a void cheque from the bank because I know they'll need that at work for direct deposit nonsense. And then my mom came home with a basket for my bike because she's awesome. And  then she was like "I don't suppose you'd want to go to the store..." right after I had got back from putting it on my bike. But I was like "Sure". Because I felt like my earlier bike ride had been too short, even though it always feels like longer during the actual ride, because it's like "I rode so far, that must have taken an hour, let's turn back" but really, it only took ten minutes. I need to keep track with my music from now on. So yeah, I went to get tomatoes. And a thing of Skittles because they're always right by the self-check out and I can never resist. Plus my mom said I could.

In other news, I really want the Hank Corndog shirt. Not as much as I wanted the Pizza shirt, but still really bad. Anyways. I'm on season 3 of Gossip Girl now. I was going to watch a lot of it today but I got caught up in the biking and the editing of awesomeness, and talking to friends. Which I don't regret. I'll take those things over GG any day.

I made grapefruit juice? It was delicious. Our juicer is awesome. Someone is smoking outside right now. And I can smell it because my window is open. Disgusting. Also, I cleaned my room on Monday because it was messy from being in Abbotsford and then the unpacking and failure to put anything away. Then on Tuesday when they called and said I had the job, I panicked and took all my clothes out and now they're on the floor and it's messy. And I was webcam-Skypeing with Ashley so she could see the options and I broke two hangers in the process.

Speaking of Ashley, I just asked her what the song should be and she sent me the link to Airplanes, and I was like "Dude, just used this today". She's looking for something else. I love not doing the work.

LIGHTS by All Out. On that note, sorry that it has bad language. And have a nice day. Alex, Shoshana, I don't know if I'll be able to call you tonight. I might not get back in time and I'm not sure how long I'm staying at the mall. But I love you. ALL OF YOU, ya know.

Kay. Baiii.

34.3

Today's BEDA post is Guilty Pleasures. Which, I guess, is kind of fitting considering all the Gossip Girl I've been watching lately. I mean, I don't really have any guilty pleasures because I have almost no shame, but it's something I know I should feel guilty about, after making fun of it for so long, and even writing about how much it sucked, in English class... I didn't actually answer the question, but I got full marks for it because it made my teacher laugh. Anyways. It's also weird because they graduated in 2009, which is when I graduated. And now they're off at university and... I'm not. Boo.

But I do have a job now! The last job I had was International, so it's been like 9 or 10 months since I've worked. But when I got that job, I went to the mall with Shoshana and Alanna and passed out five resumes. I got three interviews from that. I went to two interviews on the same day, accepted the job from International, and didn't go to the third interview, which was at Coles. Shoshana ended up getting that job, actually.

This time, it only took three resumes, and I didn't even have to wait a week. I am awesome. She said it would take like, two weeks to get back to me, but she called her DM about me that day, and he called International, and because they are awesome, they gave me a smokin' reference. So she called me today while I was on a bike ride with my mum. I knew this would happen so I checked the caller ID and saw the store name, so I freaked out a little, and called back. And she's like "She's on her break, I'll get her to call you when she gets back."

So I waited half an hour for her break to end, because that's usually how long they are. But then I had to wait longer and finally when she called I was like "Don't answer on the first ring. One. Two. Three. Hello?" I mean, it's really easy for me to answer first ring because the phone is beside my bed. But some people don't know that so it might seem like I'm waiting by the phone. Anyways. Yeah. I start on Thursday. I'm excited.

Kay, enough of this. Alex is back in Abbotsford. She decided to go down RIGHT AFTER I LEFT. EAIRNLGIUALIWENVURTVNBKRUEANFUKRRRRAWR. I am so upset.

Also, Shoshana, I got your FB message. Of course, this communication plan of yours is dependent upon you actually checking the blog, and your e-mail.

NOW THE SONG. Yes, I was supposed to post this blog last night, but I was laying there at like, 2 am. And then I thought, I should get up and do this before bed. Because I always get up before bed to post, even if I'm almost sleeping. But last night, I was kind of like a dead begonia. BAM. WG, WG reference. Like a boss.

So yeah, song. Obviously it's going to be Airplanes by B.o.B. featuring Hayley Williams of Paramore because Hailey was listening to it at some point while I was there and it's amazing.

I actually don't even mind the rapping. Probably because it actually has a message in this case. A message other than "get up on this, you sexy biotch."

34.2

It feels really weird to get 0 comments on a blog. Like yesterday's. But I know you're all busy, helping with secret projects, and studying/taking exams so I'm letting it slide. Speaking of secret projects, it's going so well. I sent it to Ashley and she is pretty into it as well. But I kind of feel like it's my baby, so I have to like it more, no matter how many times I watch it to make sure I got the right spot for editing and making sure all the audio is level even though some people are too quiet and some are way too loud. But I'm kidding. iMovie is way easier to use than I first thought and I'm really enjoying the fact that my computer doesn't freeze mid-edit.

So it's really hot here in Kelowna. Like, ridiculously. I rode to the library, then to the mall in shorts and a t-shirt. And I was still sweating. But the reason for my trip to the mall was to go job hunting. I applied at Smart Set and some other place I can't even remember and then I found Randy River and saw they had a Now Hiring sign. So I was ECSTATIC. I used to work at International Clothiers, which is like, the same company.

So I went in and gave the woman a resume and we talked for a bit and she was all "do you have any experience" and I was like "Yeah, I worked at International, so I already know the ins and outs of the company" and she's all "It's funny you say that, because this store is going to be turned into an International soon" and then she's all "My DM is coming down next week so it'll take us a while to get back to you, so don't think we've thrown your resume away or anything, we'll definitely get back to you and the DM will like that you've already worked here. Would you be okay with taking keyholder position?" So I'm all: OF COURSE. Because keyholders have something in between full and part time. So it'd be perfect. So she says she'll get back to me in 1-2 weeks, and I'm excited. I also told Mitchell I applied and he said she called for a reference which is awesome! Really hoping to get a job there. Anyways. This spiel is over.

I'm pretty stoked as well because I'm pretty close to figuring out everything on my Mac. I've got Transmission (which is like uTorrent, but better) and a Youtube converting program, and I have all my normal programs. Also, apparently if you get an e-mail on a Mac with an MS-DOS attached, you can't open it. But I e-mailed myself my OpenOffice documents and they opened. So take that, Microsoft. I wasn't going to pay 150 dollars for iLife or whatever it is. I can just as easily get the same programs, if not better ones, by downloading them online.

Right. Okay. So the BEDA theme is Dreams. And I have pretty messed up dreams all the time. Unless it's meant as.. like, dreams for my life. In which case, I have no freaking idea what I want to do with my life. But I'm going to move on to the song, because I still have to catch up on all YOUR blogs. I'm asking Ashley for the song because she happens to be speaking with me on Skype. Where Did You Go by Valencia

I just realized that I'm a few weeks behind on writing down which songs I've used. Blah. Anyways. It's a quarter to midnight and I'm going to go to bed after this. I need to move my bike out of the parking garage by 9:30 (they're washing the floors or something and they have to pay extra if there's something left in a parking space. And we'll get the bill.)

And I was going to go job hunting tomorrow, so I might as well do them both at the same time. So I want to wake up at like 8/8:30 and then leave by like, 9:20 just to be sure. I don't know what to wear job hunting though. I mean, I'll bike over in jeans and then change into something less sweaty. I just don't know whether to do the whole skirt thing, or to wear jeans. By the time I get responses to this, it'll be too late anyways. So maybe comment saying what you think I'll end up wearing. Prizes for being right. But not really.

So yeah, I have that whole dilemma. And I don't think Shoshana and I will end up living together next school year after all. Her dad said she could stay at home, and I was thinking I wanted to stay at home. I just want to save up more money before I go do the whole school given. Especially because I don't even know what I want to do with my life. It's kind of weird for me because I've been so sure of everything since I was young, and now I have no freaking idea how my life is going to turn out. Le sigh.

So I just finished all my laundry from Abbotsford and I was bleaching my whites. But one of the whites turned yellow. I don't know how this happened. But it's funny because I was a little apprehensive about bleaching it (due to the 10% silk content) but I was all "Nah, it'll be fine". And now it's like... yellow, with patches of white. It could pass as like tie-dye maybe. But if it looks like crap, I'll just bleach it again and hopefully get the white patches out so it's just yellow. I only bought it on Monday! It hasn't even been a week. Well, by today it's been a week. But it's still Sunday for me and that's depressing.

But slightly less depressing (still mildly depressing because it didn't last long enough) - I got to talk to Alex and Shosh tonight. So that was exciting.

So the song is The Same Things by Lauren something (Just kidding, it's O'Connell.) FEATURING JULIA NUNES because I've been listening to it a lot. (Apparently they're best friends) I've actually been listening to Julia's new CD a lot (just 5 songs, but still). She might sound familiar because I'm pretty sure I used a Pomplamoose/Lauren song earlier on at some point. Also, I'm upset again because I have 86 cents left on my iTunes account. That is the worst feeling ever.

Hopefully that embeds properly. (Thanks for telling me about it's failure last time, Lo.)

Love you all

PS Wish me luck for tomorrow, and pray that I don't come home a failure face.

33.7

Not much has happened since my last blog post, as it was two minutes ago. Except my "Friday" video made it up onto Youtube. But this is going to be short because I need to clean my room of all the post-trip unpacking garbage. Gotta sort through clean/dirty and all that jazz. Also, I brought six new books back with me.

Will Grayson, Will Grayson (obviously)
Keeping the Moon (only Sarah Dessen book I didn't have)
Raise High the Roof Beam, Carpenters and Seymour An Introduction by JD Salinger
Franny and Zooey by JD Salinger
Nine Stories by JD Salinger
ALSO... Stuff White People Like. Charis gave it to me as a birthday gift. I love it.

I think today's BEDA theme is Books I'm Reading. Wait, that was yesterday's. Today's is the Weekly Wrap Up. And I kind of mixed those two up. Feel free to switch.

And my parents got me Quizno's for dinner. So good. And I've been texting Alex for the past hour. But she's going to bed (hello one am her time), that crazy kid. Speaking of... ALEX AND SHOSH - Calling you tonight at seven my time. TEN YOUR TIME. I felt bad because Shoshana was like "YOURE CALLING ME SOON" And I was like "Except I'm not because I'm in Abbotsford still" but I am HOME now, and in desperate need of a phone session with you two.

So the song is Forgive Me by City and Colour because I was listening to it on Wednesday and haven't forgotten how amazing it is. LIVE, but still just as hot.

I love Dallas Green. AND I LOVE ALL OF YOU. Starting tomorrow, I will be reading EVERY SINGLE one of your blogs. Feel free to abuse me on various internet sites in order to make sure I actually remember to read them.

So pretty much as soon as I'm done writing this, I need to write TOMORROWS. I am sorry everything has been late these last couple weeks and that I've been such a failure at life. But I'm home now, and I'm reading to tell you what HAPPENED in Abbotsford. I basically told you everything each day but I haven't told you about my weekend (like you care). But Hailey dropped me off in Langley last night (Friday) and there was a dance. I was a couple hours early. I thought it started at 7, but there was a mis-communication (they changed the time to 9 and didn't tell me). But yeah.

Then we had billets (also poorly planned. Most people didn't submit the right numbers, so everyone was confused). I ended up at some girl's house in Vancouver with eight other girls. Five of them (from Kamloops) ended up on two queen-sized beds. Then me, and three girls from Victoria, went to the other room, where there were three singles (but really a single and a queen) and I slept on the floor. But we had an awesome time, the girls from Victoria were really nice and we watched Miss Teen America - South Carolina screw up that question about Americans not being able to locate themselves on the map. See below.

IDIOT. Anyways, THEN we went to Timmy's in the morning, and I got a bagel. Then we took a tour of the new temple, and it was amazing. And then I thought we were going home, but we stayed until like... 1. Even though the tour was over around 10. And we went to Red Robin for lunch and didn't leave until 2. So I got home pretty late. But yeah, the car ride was pretty much me playing music from my MacBook and Rob and I playing 21 Questions. I think it's supposed to be 20, but we cheated. And still lost every single time. Cindy and Kassandra were sleeping in the back the whole time. Missing out on the fun.

And I got home to... FOUR letters. And two returned letters. For Dida and Hazel. WHICH WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE ARRIVED AT THEIR PLACES TWO MONTHS AGO. Or more. So upsetting. I just got them back now. So I used an extra stamp and I'm mailing them tomorrow. So technically Monday because it won't get sent until then. OH OH OH. And I read a lot of WG, WG on the ride back. I'm almost done. But now I'm at the point where I want to know what happens on the last page, but I don't want it to be over. So I'm savoring it in spite of myself.

Anyways. I'm going to move on to TOMORROW'S song, so I'll leave you with Need You Now by Lady Antebellum because Jeremy heard it on the radio and wouldn't stop singing it on the way to Red Robin, or AT Red Robin. He probably kept singing it on the car ride home, but I wasn't in the same vehicle. Plus he had the lyrics wrong, so he was all "It's a quarter after one, it's a quarter after one, and I need you now". So Zak and I had to correct his lyrics. And then he sang it kind of correctly. Right, bye. Love you.

33.5

So yeah, this is late. Sorry. Last night (Thursday) was my birthday party. And it was sweet. We went to Boston Pizza and then to the park and then to the movies. We saw Hot Tub Time Machine because I'd seen everything else, and it was actually good. I was surprised. It was just funny because the ticket stub said "Hot Tub Time" and we were all like "I wish."

But then we went back to the park and lit some sparklers that Shanna bought me. I imagine there will be some incriminating photos arriving soon on Facebook, also due to a gift from Shanna. I won't give anything away, but it was really funny at the restaurant. And then today, Shanna came over again and we tried to dye her hair. It didn't end well. I liked it, but she didn't. She was going to go back to blonde, but the bleach didn't really bleach. It bleached her roots and then the rest of her hair was red. So we went to the store and bought more bleach. And it did nothing. But it looked like she meant to do it, and it looked a little like Hayley Williams' hair. But Shanna went home so her mom could fix it.

Anyways. I'm going to Langley tonight. And tomorrow morning, I'm going home. So I'll be able to read your guys' blogs and comment, and watch all your youtube videos and what-not. I should actually film my Friday video now and post it quickly before I have to go. I'm just charging up my MacBook and iPod for the drive and  all that good stuff; trying to fit my clothes back into their bags.

ALEX AND SHOSHANA - I will be able to call you on Sunday (finally, missed you) and I hope you've been working on that surprise for Melissa. She left today, so I was thinking we should have it done in about two weeks, because that's when she'll really start to miss everyone.

Anyways, the song is going to be Hero by Enrigue Iglesias because, why not?

My post for tomorrow will probably be late as well, but it will get up. Promise.

33.4

So it's been established that I know how to embed videos without ScribeFire. But I still miss it. It was so much better. I think I figured out how to keep Mozilla on my computer though, because Skype and VLC are still there. Anyways, I'll figure it out later. Tomorrow is my birthday party. I don't really know how it's going to work because the plan was to go to a movie around 4, but it turns out there are no movies playing on Thursday at 4. So we're having dinner first, and then going to a movie at like seven. Also, I read a bit of WG, WG today. So in love. And I've been listening non-stop to Bmin/E since I got it. But Hailey has this thing where she can only listen to music she knows, so when we're driving, I can't play my music. Unless it's also her music.

Which kind of confuses me because she's always telling me about new bands. She just doesn't like MY bands. Hailey, I know you're reading this. And I totally love you. This is all stuff I've said to your face though, so who cares that I'm not rehashing it to my eleven blog followers? Technically it's twelve, but Anna is following me twice.

Today, Hailey and I watched tons of Glee (again) and she was like "I can't wait for you to go home so I can have all my pillows back." She's so nice to me.

And I caught up on my TV shows today, so I know what's going on. Except I'll have to wait for Saturday to watch my Thursday shows, which are my FAVORITES. Because of Bones, Grey's, Supernatural, Fringe. And the Office, which I haven't watched in forevaaas.

Except Bones was on tonight so I'll Megavideo that shizz later (like as soon as this blog is done) and maybe Accidentally on Purpose even though I am a couple weeks behind. Shoot, yeah, I lied. I didn't catch up on that one. But I must. I love Jenna Elfman. Ever since Dharma and Greg.

Anyways, yeah. The song. Gosh. Asking Hailey on this one. She wants True Colors. But I've already used it. Whatever, I'll use it again. It was a long time ago, and I like the song. I'm playing World of Warcraft Ruined My Life for Hailey right now because she read my status all judgingly. Right, song. Kay. Happening now:

Love you all

33.3

So I've kind of been slacking on this whole blogging thing. Not my blog. I've been keeping up with that alright. Just with reading other blogs. I hate BEDA for that reason. I mean, it's awesome because I get to learn a lot more about new friends (like the TSR girls) but I've just been super busy and have failed to comment. And I feel super bad because you're all commenting on my blog and I'm a horrible person that can't return the favor! I still love you, and once I get back to my own house and my own boring life, I'll have time to read all your blogs and to actually comment. Starting Monday, you need to pester me to read blogs every day. Because I always leave it too long and then feel super overwhelmed.

Anyways. Today was good. I slept in. And I read the first eight pages of NOSYARG LLIW, NOSYARG LLIW. So amazing. But then Hailey came home from work and we watched a ton of Glee. At some point during the last episode, I started making up my air mattress (I take the blankets and stuff off of it and lean it against the wall during the day to save room) and then she was like "Oh, did you make your bed?" And started tearing it apart. It was kind of douchey of her but I was laughing my face off.

OH, and her dad took me driving today. We went to Chilliwack and back. And I had to keep turning around to go on Majubi hill, which is DEATH. Also, a few times ago when we were driving, I forgot to stop at a stop sign because I was concentrating so hard on the fact that I was turning, so Hailey's been making fun of me for that. I actually remembered to wear my glasses today, so she was like "Oh that's good, now you'll be able to see the stop signs".

We also have this thing going because last night I asked to borrow an extra pillow (to prop my head up while watching Doctor Who) and then I didn't use it for sleeping. So I was telling her today that I had a really good sleep. And she's all "Oh, because of the extra pillow?" And then I was like "No, I didn't use that" and she went all "OH, you didn't even use the pillow? I had to sacrifice that extra pillow and you didn't even use it?" She was kidding, as she usually is, and it was really funny. So after she messed up my bed, she went to the bathroom, presumably to soak her foot some more. And I took ALL of her pillows off her bed and I am using them right now. I can't wait for her to come back. Anyways. I think this has been long enough.

Because today's blog post title is 33.3, I figure the only song that will be appropriate is 3 by Britney Spears. Because it's the THIRD song on the album, and it's 3:33 time-wise. I thought it was clever. And while it's not my favorite song on that record, it works today.

(I could embed that because Lo is awesome and told me how to. Basically I'm an idiot and she recognized that and told me what to do.
Pretty simple, but I'm dumb.)

Also, Hailey came back.

"You took all my pillows. That makes me want to cry". She really likes pillows.

ANYWAYS,

Love you all
xx

33.2

Hailey and I went to Metrotown today, and I pretty much spent the money I had left. I am poor once again. But at least I have a MacBook, an iPod touch, books, and clothes to show for it. And more, but I'm not very well going to list everything I've bought. Except one thing

NOSYARG LLIW, NOSYARG LLIW! I bought two copies so I could give one to my friend Shilou. I'm that awesome. But yeah, I'm super excited to read it. I'm going to start tonight if this headache ever goes away. Hailey got me sick. She's a jerkface.

OH! And I bought new pyjamas because I've been freezing every single night. Instead of shorts and a t-shirt, I've got capri-type things and a t-shirt. And we saw How to Train Your Dragon. It was so awesome. I'm really happy because this makes THREE movies I've seen in theatre that were amazing. Usually I'm super disappointed with movies, but I was loving them all.

Anyways, yes. Now I'm stealing Hailey's music (I've been doing it all week, actually) and putting them onto my iPod. Rise Against CD number three is going in right now. And it's happening alphabetically so you know how I'm doing. If you care.

AND I BOUGHT MORE SOCKS TODAY. I know I said I wouldn't list everything I bought, but I'm excited. I love socks. The ones I bought today are like, the same as the ones I showed you guys in my video, but one pair is yellow, one's red, and the other is purple. I loves em. ANYWAYS. This must end. A couple of you were saying I don't need ScribeFire to embed my videos but I still don't know how to do it, so here is the link to today's song - How You Love Me Now by Hey Monday, because we were listening to it on the way home.

Love you all
xx
