9.05

Thursday, I worked again. It was alright. Then last night, Courtney came home with me, and Jeni was there already, to say goodbye to Iram. So we watched the Emperor's New Groove, then Iram and I snuggled on the couch, then went to bed early-ish. Midnight is early, right? Right.

So that was yesterday. I'll fill you in on today, in 9.06. Thrilling stuff, I know. Wouldn't want to miss any of it.

Today's song is another one by Adele because I love to spoil you guys and because nothing else has been on my mind for a long time.

This time I'm going with Don't You Remember?

Again, enjoy it or die.

9.04

Wednesday, I had the day off. We went to De Dutch for breakfast, came home and painted our nails, watched a movie, and then Frankie came over and we played Catchphrase, which is awesome. It was a good day, my last day off, for all intents and purposes, with Iram.

The song for today is Someone Like You by Adele because a few of her songs have been stuck in my head FOR TWO WEEKS, and this is one of my faaavorites.

You better enjoy this.

9.03

Soo it's kind of Friday now. I apologize for missing a few days. It's been Iram's last week, so I've spent all my spare time with her. So on Tuesday, I worked. With Iram. Then we watched Tangled. Which, I'll admit, was amazing. I love Zachary Levi, and Rapunzel was just adorable and quirky and it was beautiful.

But I'm going to do some quick blogging, so I won't bore you with anything. The song today is going to be The Time Of my Life because it's currently playing on Galaxie (80's Flashback).

So enjoy that.

9.02

About to go to bed. But I thought I would do this now, as I work tomorrow and will not have time.

Also, tomorrow. Is Iram's goodbye dinner. Which will be depressing but fun at the same time because everyone will be there.

It's really hard for me to believe it's been a year. I feel like we haven't had enough time. The other day, we were looking back over our Facebook conversations and we knew it was forever ago, and it felt like a long time ago but it didn't at the same time. It's like when we graduated, and I kind of thought - what happened to those four years? Because they disappeared. But then when I thought about things that happened throughout high school, it felt so long ago.

I don't know. I just want her to come back as soon as possible. Anyways! I hope you guys really enjoyed General Conference. I was going to watch it yesterday night but then there was a roomie crisis and my bed was over-encumbered. I'm hoping to find time this week to catch up because GC is always awesome. And I'm hoping it'll give me more motivation not to be so lazy and to do more stuff that I'm supposed to like go to FHE (and if I can't make it, have it at home) and to go to Institute, or just sit at home and read. Instead of being lame and antisocial and staying at home on the internet. I suck lately.

Right. The song. I basically just opened iTunes and hit skip a bunch of times. What I ended up with was.... Dance Hall Drug by Boys Like Girls. Which is good enough.

Enjoy your Mondays.

9.01

It's super early on a Sunday morning. By super early, I mean nine. But here's the thing. Yesterday, I woke up at 7 because I had a bad dream. And I didn't work until like, 11. Then last night, I was too scared to go to sleep so I literally just had to lie there until 4, when my exhaustion just forced me to sleep. And I woke up at 8-something this morning because of another flipping bad dream. So I didn't get enough sleep either night and I have this sick feeling in my stomach that you get from waking up too early and murmur murmur and I'm dead.

Lots of drama happening last night and today. Not betwixt members of the house, but between a member of the house and another person. I don't think she'd appreciate me saying anything, and I'm not exactly sure about the end-game yet, but I'm hoping everything works out. Just as I typed that, the sun came out. Effing sun. Maybe I'll take a bike ride today. Maybe, since the three of us have the day off, we can go somewhere. Unless Iram stays out all day, with like, her social life. Iderknooow.

ANYWAYS. I hope you guys liked Glee week. If I extended it to two weeks, I could have lots more songs! Glee is something that needs to be experienced over a long period of time. But that's cool. A week is all you need since we all watch it. Because obviously, I can spread them out in other weeks.

Also, I've decided not to keep a list of all the songs this time around. I'm trusting my memory. I don't care if I double-post anymore. I'm living on the edge.

Okay. The song today is from the Sucker Punch soundtrack. Don't judge me, guys, but I actually really enjoyed the movie. And the soundtrack. I hate Vanessa Hudgens and Emily Browning. But I like her singing on the soundtrack. Here's Asleep. (Originally by the Smiths, so don't get any ideas).

Enjoy!

8.07

It's SATURDAY.

(Comes after FRYDAY, in case you were confused).

Friday was Iram's last day at work. Which was depressing. Because she leaves in a week. And I don't want that. I like having two roommates. It would, of course, be easier if we had three bedrooms. But we'll work on that. Maybe when Iram comes back, we can get a 3 bedroom and just like, sublet the room during the 6 or 7 months she is back in England. Or get a large two bedroom like Alex and Carissa (and that other skank) have, and then two of us can share a room. I wouldn't mind it.

Hailey and Iram are amazing and we all get along really well, and I'll be sad to lose Iram. I really don't want her to go. WAAAAH.

Anyways. I'll stop being depressing and leave you with the SONG. Keep Holding On.

I just really liked that episode and I thought it was really sweet that even though Quinn was a total douche, they were good friends and were there for her. Also, I lyke luurv Avril Lavigne.

Have a nice Saturday!

HELLLUUR.

On Thursday, I had the day off. Hailey and I went to Peachland because the sun was out! We sat on the beach for ten minutes then went back to the car because it was super windy. And we went to Bliss Bakery and Sally's Beauty Supply and went to Edo for lunch, and it was an awesome day. It's really lovely having Hailey here. I've been missing her for such a long time and I finally have her back!

Iram leaves in a week. Which is really weird. And scary. And I don't want to think about it. But she is going to go home, and reapply for a Visa, so she will hopefully be back in six months, for another year! Which would be awesome. And hopefully she does that continuously until she can finally live here for realz. Because I don't want to be without mah Iramz.

Anyways, I'm going to give you your song. I'm going with Blackbird. Because I already love the song, and I LOVE KURT.

Seriously, Kurt is my favorite. He is just so precious and his voice is just... GAH. He's so perfect. And this is one of my favorite songs he's done.

Enjoy!

8.05

Thursday?

Hailey and I did a Social Network Commentary drinking game with Pina Colada and Five Alive. We made it 45 minutes before we ran out of both drinks, which was fine with both of us because we felt super sick and also on a huge sugar high, terrible enough to rival the angel food cake Shoshana and I once made. It also got kind of boring at points (mostly when David Fincher was talking) and sometimes when people were just saying boring things.

I worked today, too. It was... work. I was alone for the last two and a half hours so I started to re-read I am the Messenger which I loved the first time and am loving as much this time around. Hailey picked me up from work, too, as she's been doing this entire week. It's wonderful. I also wore my new wedges from Spring. Which gave me blisters (amazing, no?). Reminded me of the blisters from Ottawa. Also from wedges, I believe. I am just not meant for those shoes. But they are SO CUTE. Might wear them with tights. You don't care. Anyways.

Yeah, so my day was lovely. (HOW WAS YOURS?)

Today's Glee cover is Don't Make Me Over because it's one of my favorites (still) from like, the very beginning. Mercedes is crazy-cakes good and I just love this song to death.

Set to scenes from Nip/Tuck.

Enjoy your Thursdays!

8.04

WEDNESDAY. Yeah, I just finished Tuesday. What of it?

We're currently watching Parenthood which is kind of dramatic and all but I'm typing this sad excuse for a blog post up. I feel weird because sometimes I have lots to write about and sometimes I have absolutely nothing to say. Like today, for instance. But that's cool.

Um. I love you guys.

Today's song is Blame it on the Alcohol because Artie is my main man and I love him and he's beautiful.

ENJOY IT.

8.03

HAI GAIZZ.

It's Tuesday. I don't know any sweet songs about Tuesday, but I had a good day. Went to bed early so I had a long and lovely sleep and then went to work and etc etc it was lovely.

I asked Iram for her favorite Glee cover today and she's going with Physical by Sue and Olivia Newton John.

Which is amazing. Enjoy Tuesday!

8.02

IT'S MONDAY. And now I can do this Glee thing how I want to.

So the thing I hate about working on Sundays is that I forget it's a Sunday.

But last night, we went to see Sucker Punch. I expected it to be terrible. And it kind of was. But I loved it.

I also bought a Harry Potter lego set, which I built last night while watcthing the Incredibles. Obviously.

Anyways. Today, I'm giving you Somebody to Love covered by the boys of Glee

HAI GUYZ.

It's Sunday. And I have to work. Hopefully the last of them! Iram has been getting Sundays off recently because she has been going away a lot, traveling and such before she leaves. So I'm working Sundays. But this is actually her last week at work. Which is weird. And it means she has less than two weeks until she leaves and I might cry.

We've both kind of been in denial. I wonder if I'll cry at her farewell. We're having a goodbye dinner for her about a week from now, and I won't cry then. I'm just wondering if I'll cry when I have to say goodbye to her for real. When her things are packed in the back of Tim's car (if he can drive her to Vancouver) and I know I won't see her for a while.

She has plans to come back in the summer and everything, but I don't know. Anyways. I've decided (just now) that I want this week to be Glee: My Favorite Covers. I won't use Landslide because I used it last week but you can be CERTAIN that is my numbah one.

I wanted to kick this off with the Biebs, but that might be a bit racy for a Sunday. So we'll go instead with One of Us. Don't worry, you'll get your Biebs tomorrow. This wasn't really one of my faaavorites, but it fits for a Sunday and I mean, of course they were brilliant. Basically because Rachel doesn't have lead vocals. I love her, but why does she get EVERY song?

Happy Sunday

SATURDAY. It's SATURDAY, GUYS. And Sunday comes afterwards.

So on Thursday, we watched the Goonies. And while watching it, I realized my absolute FAVORITE song by the Ataris was written about that movie. So today's song is So Long, Astoria.

xx

7.06

Okay. So Friday was good. Did some... stuff. I don't really know. I'm really tired and I think I'm going to catch up and begin posting a day ahead once again, so I might post three in a row or something now.

Today's song is one I have been wanting to share for a while. Hopefully you have it memorized by now, but it's Friday by Rebecca Black. Because... it's Friday.

7.05

BLARGH.

I'm in a bit of a hurry and I forgot to post yesterday's, but I will come back after work and post today's.

Things are going well here. Just same stuff as usual. Finally watched the Goonies. Don't know why I've been putting it off for so long. Such an awesome movie. And Hailey and I played Mario Kart last night which was beautiful. She mostly beat me because she's had more of a chance to play and because I just suck at all Nintendo games and Hailey is more hardcore than me.

OKAY. Will talk more later. Need to leave for work in 9 minutes and I am NOT READY.

Send in the Clowns - Sinatra

How I feel because you guys are absent from my life lately.

7.04

WEDNESDAY. It's still Wednesday. Hailey and I are going to watch Tristan and Isolde as well as Fracture.

We are currently watching Chelsea Lately. I actually love her so much. She is hilarious and her sense of humor is so beautiful. I know I don't have much to say lately, but um... whatever.

THE SONG today is Unfinished Business by White Lies - Iram really liked White Lies, but I didn't care so much until Mumford & Sons covered Unfinished Business, and I was like well hey, if they covered it, it must be good. So yeah, White Lies are amazing.

ENJOY THAT.

xx

7.03

WHAT UP?

So my Tuesday was awesome. Worked. Hailey unpacked. We watched How I Met Your Mother. It was beautiful.

That's basically it. Also, WHERE ARE YOU GUYS? We have not talked in forever.

Anyways. Today's song is Take Me or Leave Me from Rent. Because I absolutely failed that at karaoke, and I finally know the song well enough to rock it.

So, enjoy.

xx

7.02

Alrighty. Monday is OVER.

Hailey moved in, it was epic. She's going to unpack tomorrow because Iram and I will both be at work. Today, we bought her a bookshelf for all her DVD's. We will probably definitely need another one for all her books.

So yeah, Hailey is the big news of the day. Nothing else happened. And I'm super excited for this!

So excited that I am too pooped to write any more, and I must give you your song of the day.

I'm going to give you a NEW (kind of) Mumford and Sons song. Because I know Shosh loves them, and probably doesn't have the unreleased tracks because they are unreleased and kind of illegal to own and Shosh doesn't do that kind of thing. So here is my current favorite (so far) - Sister

Gorgus.

Well, have a lovely Tuesday. I know I usually post things BEFORE, but I guess I'll be a day behind. Until the one day I have enough energy to write two blog posts at once.

But yeah, bai.

7.01

So first week back after that awesome vacation.

HELLOOOOOOOO. So right now, the only things I can listen to are 1. The new Britney album and 2. Landslide, you know the one from Glee. Because Naya Rivera and Heather Morris are like my favorites and the scene was so emotional and my creys.

And I know Alex will not really appreciate any Britney, so I'm going to go with Landslide. I hope you are having lovely times without me. I am currently preparing for Hailey tomorrow. I have the whole day tomorrow as well, but I'm just so excited that I have to keep busy or I will go crazy and be like HAILEY WHEREFORE ART THOU? To myself and all my neighbors will complain to Strata and I will get kicked out and Hailey will not have a place to move in to.

ANYWAYS. The song.

By the way, who else is NOT EXCITED AT ALL to wait two months for the next episode? Like, slit my wrists.

Okay. I love you. Bai.

6.07

So I realize that I left it kind of abruptly, before the week had even ended. PANSED begins again on Sunday, with week 7. For now, I will just finish off the week and say I've missed you. Ottawa was amazing, and I loved spending all that time with you girlzz.

Today's song is You Could Be Happy by Snow Patrol.

Hailey moves in in... 5 DAYS.
