All caught up! Happy Friday, people.

It's not super happy for me because I have to go home today and that is sad-making. Buuut I had a lovely, restful week here in Abbotsford and it was nice to see most of my friends and it was AWESOME to be on an awkward group date last night. It wasn't that awkward at all. Though, at one point, I was stirring the spaghetti and the wooden spoon I was using snapped in half. Lost the bottom half in the spaghetti for about twenty minutes. Later, we held a funeral.

Anyways. Pictures are on Facebook and memories are in my mind and I'm too lazy to leave either of those on my blog.

Please accept this song as an apology. It's one of my brother's favorites. I think it's alright. Sunshine by Atmosphere.

Now, I spent my Wednesday helping my dad pack things and move to his new house. We made about four trips back and forth and that was just oodles of fun. Then I went to Institute with Shosh and Tayja and had a blasty-blast.

Other than that, not much happened.

The song of the day is Prettiest Thing by Oh Darling.

Yeah, I just realized that I forgot about this for a few nights. My bad! I guess I'm having too much fun in Abbotsford.

On Tuesday, I went to see Crystine and Jaylene and because Crystine is on bed rest, we just sat in bed and talked. And also played Settlers of Catan which is the greatest game ever and I need to buy it.

And that is basically all that happened, except a nice talk with Jenae and hanging out with everyone at night.

Song for Wednesday is In Deep by Shere

Okay, yes, it was from the movie PROM. But I like the song. So be quiet.

2.03

So today was spent editing footage from Sunday's awkward date-invite fest, and then calling everyone back and telling them each a different theme for the date.

Then Jenae took me to the mall and we split up so she could return her hair-care products and I could visit Mitchell. I bought him food as Cameron didn't show up for his shift and Mitchell was alone ALL FLIPPING DAY. I got there an hour before close, but that was probably two hours sooner than he would have eaten so I'm sure what little I could do was appreciated anyways.

AND THEN Shanna and Cierra picked me up from the mall. We went to Shanna's house and watched Win a Date with Tad Hamilton and then Material Girls as we ate (junk) food and felt like vomiting. I still have tons left over, though, so it's cool.

After the movies ended, we went for a walk in the Abbotsford MIST and through Discovery Trail. In the woods. When it was dark. Cierra was really terrified and I just kept talking about horror movies. Then we went for a drive and drove past the KKK hang-out and we stopped whenever the rain got really heavy and danced outside. Otherwise, we just screamed along to Hilary Duff songs. It is 1 am and I am soaked and I think Shosh fell asleep on the couch waiting for me/reading her scriptures so I feel bad for taking so long but I had fun and it was nice to see old friends. And Shoshana is asleep in her own bed now.

Lo, if you are reading this, I think you will be happy about this next bit: Eventually, I caved and listened to Cody Simpson. And I began to enjoy it. And this next song is off his NEW EP, Coast to Coast.

I haven't listened to all the songs yet but I am glad that his voice is a bit deeper and also, I think in about ten years, I might find him physically attractive.

Anyhow. The song of the day is going to be Crazy But True.

Hellurrrr.

SUNDAY. Today was fantastic. We (and when I say "we", I mean Shoshana and Jenae) called around and asked a bunch of boys and girls out on dates for an AWKWARD GROUP DATE this Thursday.

And I don't mean I think it will be awkward, I mean I KNOW it will be awkward. As in, we are purposely setting this up to make it awkward. People must arrive at exactly 6:47 this Thursday evening, ring the doorbell upstairs and ask for the basement suite. Daters do not know who they will be dating, and who they will be dating will change throughout the evening. We will serve spaghetti and caesar salad and garlic bread, all with EXTRA garlic, and lemon-water with lemon seeds left in every glass. We have called people we don't really know and Shoshana almost asked out a married man. More on that later.

Anyways. I look forward to that. Tomorrow I am going to see Shanna and Cierra which is very happy-making as is most of my life right now. This time at my home away from home was much needed.

So the song is Shining by Kristian Leontiou because it is in the Material Girls Soundtrack and also you smell like Satan's armpit.

Anyways. LOVE YOU.

I am sitting in bed/couch right now and the computer is really close but I don't have the energy so I am mobile blogging!

Today was amazing! We did not go to the Dan Mangan concert, which was unfortunate. But we did watch Emperor's New Groove/nap then go to the RS Broadcast and holy blast from the past! Saw someone I never thought I would. An old high school friend I adore was there and she looked so happy and just in love with life and Melissa looks so happy and seeing everyone so happy is very happy-making for me.

Alas, I will stop the paragraphical rant and focus on the song. After all the driving and the music choices while driving, y'all knew it had to be Josh Groban.

Jenae's favorite.... Galileo.

Now, I can't put videos into these posts so you will have to get it from YouTube or (I hope) your iTunes library.

Week one is OVER. I think I'll do better with year 3 than I did with year 2. Wherein I gave up after about 10 weeks because it was pathetic.

First day back in Abby. Woke up too early, witnessed an epic verbal assault before boarding, arrived safely, managed to half surprise Shoshana, but she got home too early! Poop. Anyways. Shosh and I went to the mall, bought some things, drove around a bit, had some good times, etc etc and now she is washing her face, so I've got about an hour to write this but figured I wouldn't take that long.

Anyways. On the list of songs I have Recently Purchased (and with this one I am honest-to-goodness not kidding you). It's kind of a strange song but I just love it so much. It reminds me of living on Parkview, at that rare age when all my siblings and I seemed to get along and we would hang out on the trampoline and in our treehouse and light tiny firecrackers and just laugh at everything. So maybe I'll enjoy it more than you. But the banjo playing is pretty great.

It is.... the Devil Went Down to Georgia but the Charlie Daniels Band.

Enjoy your Saturday. We are going to see Dan Mangan.
(In retrospect, DM would have been a better person to choose for today's song but... ah well. It's not like you haven't already heard all his songs.)

Nothing matters right now because ABBOTSFORD.

It's 1 am and I am tired and I will still be tired when I wake up REALLY EARLY tomorrow morning, but I don't CARE.

Today's song is by Amy Kuney. And y'all know how I love my Amy Kuney. She has had a few new singles lately, and she is the ONE artist I will always, 100% of the time, download legally from. I know it sounds horrible but I like way too much music to pay for it all. But I am super loyal to Amy and I buy everything! And when I can't buy something from iTunes because it's only on Youtube, I download it from Youtube, and double purchase something else. That dedicated.

Anyways. Of her new singles, my favorite is Gasoline Rainbows

close second: Where I Can't Follow
close third: Waiting For You
Happy Friday, and Shoshana... Happy birthday!

So I was at work today and then I was like "OH YEAH. I FORGOT TO DO A BLOG POST". But I didn't have the app and it doesn't work from my iPhone, so I couldn't do anything until now.

So last night, mom and I played Scrabble. Naturally, I lost. Whatever.

Today's song that I have Recently Purchased is I Should Go by Levi Kreis, which you may have heard by now because I have been obsessed with it for about two or three months now. Here you go!

I just woke up so I don't know what's happening but I remembered I needed to do this thing. I refuse to fall behind.

So yesterday was cool. I worked, then Hailey and I watched a movie (I AM NUMBER FOUR) and it was beautiful.

Anyways. I must be at work in twenty minutes, so I will hurry this along. Yes, I know I woke up very late. I went to bed at 2:30 so I am VERY tired and needed as much sleep as I could get while still being able to get lunch ready and everything.

Right. The song is going to be by O.A.R. And I know this isn't NEW music. They've been going for about 15 years so it's definitely a possibility you've heard this song. I just like it because in the beginning, for some reason, it sounds like a Stars song and I just enjoy it. I had it on my iPod but then I enjoyed it and felt guilty so I actually purchased it on iTunes.

Enjoy your Wednesday. I know I won't.

I'm watching Merlin right now so I'll be quick, y'all.

1. They are gay for each other.
2. Richard Wilson has glorious hair.
3. Anthony Stewart-Head is my favorite person and was probably one of my first celebrity crushes.
4. I am an official member of the fan club for Katie McGrath's boobs.

Anyways, the song. Keeping up with the quasi-theme of Songs I have Recently Actually Purchased (etc, etc), we have Josh Kelley. He is married to Katherine Heigl, btw, and he is fierce. You will probably know this song, but I still love it enough to recommend it and make you listen to it again (or for the first time, if you're lucky). Almost Honest.

Word. So let that spice up your life (and your Tuesday) and I will blog at you later.

HAAAAAAALLLO.

So today, I made a video. Skyped with Chelsea. And Alex. And almost Shosh but... well, you know her. I also spent a large amount of time watching Parks and Rec today. Which was beautiful.

I don't have much to say. So I'll get to the song. This is from the list of "Songs I've Actually Purchased on iTunes as If I Was A Responsible Citizen or Something". And I think that might be happening a lot this week. Got to catch y'all up on what I've been listening to. And by "y'all" I mean the three people who read my blog. I thought it was two but Lo reads it. HI, LO.

Anyways, the song is by Ari Hest. You have undoubtedly heard Cranberry Lake because I know I used it at least once on PANSED, but in reality, probably many more times. Anyways. I recently took advantage of the whole "Complete My Album" thing (after maybe like, a year) and I've been listening to his beautiful voice for a while. So enjoy The Weight.

Enjoy your Mondays

1.01

Oh hey there!
This thing exists.

Okay, so happy new (school) year, everybody! Mostly Alex. Because of the two people who read my blahg, Alex is the only one going back to school. WHICH IS EXCITING.

I'm excited to be starting this up again, though I'm not sure how long I'll keep it up. I'm always really excited because I have stuff to tell you but most of the time, there is nothing to report from day to day. So for the first week or so, it will be wonderful and then I will get boring and sick of my own rantings and have nothing to report.

Anyways. You two are the only friends outside of Kelowna (okay, and Anna) who know about my secrety secret. I guess it's not really a secret, but it's just something really important to me so I haven't been telling anyone about it except for the people I super duperly love because they're the only ones that need to know, at least for the early stages.

Right. Here I am again, rambling. Aren't you glad I'm doing this again? I can't sleep right now because I'm thinking about what to pack for Abbotsford (it's less than a week away!) and I just remembered the Counting Crows exist so I downloaded August and Everything After - I remember when I was like, 13 and I stole it from Beth and listened to nothing else for about five weeks straight that summer and when I gave it back, track 5 was scratched - and I've been listening to it for the past twenty minutes and I won't go to bed until I've heard the whole thing maybe twice. Which is fine because I don't realllly have to wake up for another 8 hours. Still early, yet.

Anyways. Track 5 of AAEA is.... Anna Begins.

Might have to watch it on Youtube. I am unsure.
ANYWAYS. I am off to listen some more and stop rambling. I love you dearly. Hope your lives are going well. Would LOVE to hear from you (HINT HINT).
